To think DH shouldn’t have washed this?

We have garden furniture at the back of our garden with trees above , so over the winter it bears the brunt of the elements and is covered in bird crap etc.

DH has taken it off this morning and put it in the washing machine.

Is it me or is this really unhygienic given it’s covered in all sorts of crap?! He didn’t wash it down first .

Grow up, you'd whinge if he did nothing around the house.

In my house, we pretty much all do our own laundry.
Mind you I seem to recall one of the main criticisms of men being that we don't do our fair share of the housework.

The rule in my house when the DC were little was that I hung out the DC's clothes, because DH would hang out all the tops and no bottoms. Man had no common sense. I'm not saying all men are like this, just late DH.

Ok, so If you were covered in birdshit would you wipe yourself down before getting in the shower?

Seriously "leave the washing to the ladies" are you serious. I thought men were so fantastically intelligent practical and technical a mere washing machine should be easy peasy. Save yourself the brain cells and dont leave cushions outside all winter.most people either cover them or bring them inside.
