AIBU to think Tattle Life should be shut down following Dr Jessica Taylors forensic research?

Dr Jessica Taylor has produced research that has shown tattle life relentlessly bullied, stalked, trolled and harassed a 16 year old child until she took her own life.

Isn't it time it was shut down?

A very brave article on the metro covers it well metro.co.uk/2026/04/18/upset-this-picture-a-young-girl-trolled-stalked-abused-28001760/

Poor Princess was failed. I would really suggest you look at her parents lifestyles and how they impacted her.

Tattle has its problems but it’s no worse than Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Reddit, Mumsnet, the Daily Mail comments..

RoxytheRexy · 18/04/2026 13:08

Dr Jessica Taylor is one of the biggest grifters around. She’s only taken on Tattle as it had a thread on her exposing her dubious practices and lies. Shes not doing this ‘research’ to be altruistic

ExtraOnions · 18/04/2026 13:08

maybe banning parents from exploiting their vulnerable children in SM might be more helpful. The comments on Tattle were directed towards the parent who was relentlessly posting pictures of a young girl inappropriately dressed, in in appropriate situations, and being publicised for money. I saw huge amounts of concern for that child.

Maybe the parent needs to accept their own role in this sorry tragedy instead of constantly looking to blame other people.

Tableforjoan · 18/04/2026 13:10

Dr Taylor 😂😂😂 grifter.

SpiceGirlsNeedAComeBack · 18/04/2026 13:13

No? This is why freedom of speech exists, if tattle shut down immediately within a week two or more would be set up in its place.

Shoes232 · 18/04/2026 13:14

Have you looked into her mother? Have you an actually read the tattle threads begging for support for this child. The problems this poor girl had were from home.

FancyKeyboard · 18/04/2026 13:15

Tattle is just a gossip site - they have moderators - they don't (rogue posters notwithstanding) go after kids, they go after influencers.

Taylor is a grifter.

gamerchick · 18/04/2026 13:16

I've got a pure de ja vu going on there. Right down to the replies.

RudolphTheReindeer · 18/04/2026 13:16

Jessica Taylor who took vulnerable women's abuse stories and published them without their consent for her own monetary gain?

Shoes232 · 18/04/2026 13:17

Thanks for sending me to tattle to read about the awful person dr Jessica is ✅

RoseField1 · 18/04/2026 13:19

Hi again Jess/Jaimi! You know each time you post this thread you send more people to tattle to see what's really going on? A bit of an own goal if you ask me.

LayaM · 18/04/2026 13:20

It's not about whether home vs online was the problem. Home was certainly a problem but the online space was a contributing factor too. IRL we don't accept child abuse because it's also happening at home, why is it okay in online spaces?

I also think this is being judged differently because of who her mum is - there's a huge amount of sympathy for Ruby Frankie's children and calls for them to have been better protected that don't seem to apply here.

I would like to see better protection for minors online that includes limitations in what parents can post about their children and what contributors can post a about children, but unfortunately we're a long way from that happening.

MoreIcedLattePlease · 18/04/2026 13:21

Oh Jess, get over it love. You've been rumbled. Move on and build an actual life away from the internet.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 18/04/2026 13:30

lol, you again

It’s worse than all of those things. It’s a disgusting website full of hateful adults who try and justify their disgusting behaviour in any way they can.

Weird post. I’ve seen nothing BUT sympathy for poor Princess on Tattle and, during her short life, concern at the way she was exploited.

I think there should be tighter regulations around influencers who monetise their children and make them public property. Children can’t consent to having their lives shared online and Tattle was one of the only places where this behaviour was called out.

CissOff · 18/04/2026 13:42

Jessica Taylor 😂 grifters going to grift, I suppose.

It’s incredibly sad that a young woman has taken her life but I seriously doubt Tattle was the sole source in her doing so.

DancingNotDrowning · 18/04/2026 13:42

I opened this thread to remark not another bloody Jess Taylor thread but see I’ve been beaten to it. Grin

Jess Jami step away!

So just like MN then.

Notatallanamechange · 18/04/2026 13:47

I only read threads on this after the death of the poor girl. So far I’ve not found any trolling or nasty comments on her. Concern for her and her sister, yes. Nasty comments about them, no.

Frankly the mother seems to have raised them in a chaotic lifestyle, make awful choices and is unwilling to accept her contribution to her daughter’s decline.

Jess Taylor has a personal vendetta and unfortunately for her, the more she drives people to it, the more she highlights:

  1. That she is an absolute fraud with an ulterior motive.
  2. That mother’s lifestyle.

Regardless of what has happened, there is a mother grieving her child. And the more The Fake Doctor pushes her narrative, the more spotlights she puts on the mum.

SpellItOutBecauseTheDogIsListening · 18/04/2026 13:57

Jessica Taylor 🙄🙄🙄

From what I’ve seen on tattle, the posters criticise the parents, not the children. I have been reading the Ingham thread where most posters express huge sympathy for the children and the only hate is for the parents.

Instead of trying to get tattle banned, let’s get legislation to protect children online. Parents shouldn’t be able to exploit their children to pay for their lifestyle. At the moment we are just sitting back and letting parents ruin their children’s lives in plain sight.

Tensetickle · 18/04/2026 14:00

I don't like tattle. But I feel the parents of this child made some catastrophic judgement calls

I know! @TheWorthySeal are you one of the SLEB couple who’s trying to sue Tattle, but I don’t think many people actually know who they are!🤨😆
