Easter egg hunt at 6.30am

Both the parents outside with the kids, several kids running around screaming at 6.30am. Do people have no shame?

DH and I say this to each other too and I’m a Christian. We’re mocking how ridiculous the things that get associated with Easter are, and particularly the people who complain that chocolate eggs don’t say Happy Easter on them when what on earth to they have to do with the resurrection of Jesus anyway? 🤷‍♀️ We’re mocking these attitudes, not Christianity itself.

Having thought about it, this 6.30 am Easter Egg Hunt is probably timed to coincide with sunrise and the Daybreak Service at many churches.

Maybe people should be thankful they aren't having them based on the time in Jerusalem, which would have been 4.30 am 😆
