Re the creme egg Easter egg...

Its just a big boring hollow chocolate egg with a creme egg on the side. Why would I buy that instead of a box of 6 creme eggs?

And why cant they just make one massive creme egg?

I wish I could go to McDonald's and just get a mcflurry container filled with the creme egg mix, forget the ice cream. I doubt they'd do it though.

I feel this way about their hot caramel sauce 😁
Forget the ice-cream and just gimme that!

Just the thought has made me feel a bit sicky.

Me too. I can't even eat the normal
ones since they changed the filling. It's just liquid sugar.

The size of bloody creme eggs now is ridiculous. They’re not much bigger than mini eggs. I remember back in the 80s you’d get 6 in a proper sized egg box, now you get 5 tiny ones in a shit square box. Why 5? 5 eggs isn’t even a thing. In 5 years we’ll be getting 2 creme eggs the size of garden peas in a paper bag for £400.

Agreed. I ate one after lunch today and it was gone in 4 bites (and I tried to make it last). I’m also positive the chocolate used to be much thicker and harder, I remember having to gnaw the top of a CC egg for ages to get into it.
Isn’t being grown up just one long list of disappointments.

Because the chocolate to filling ratio is completely off and it wouldn't taste like a creme egg.

Eurghh, I’m just thinking of all that really sickly sweet and gooey filling. It would get everywhere as soon as you smashed the chocolate shell.
I quite like the normal size cream egg but the thought of a huge one is making me feel a bit nauseous.
Less is definitely better in this case.

Tunnocks Easter egg anyone? I believe this was posted as an April Fool on their social media but all the comments were along the lines of make this for real next year and I can't give you my money fast enough.

I would eat one. Slowly, but I would definitely manage one, @PearlClutchUser.

Sign me up! Remember the scene in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory where they lick the mallow out of the flowers?

@TheShoeLady love those shoes, are they real? Maybe Irregular Choice

TheShoeLady · 11/04/2026 22:17

I’m not sure of the make of the actual shoes, but I custom painted them - along with the trainers and egg shaped Louis Vuitton bag - for a customer who has some amazingly bonkers ideas for commissions!

Check out The Fat Mallow Company next Easter for their marshmallow filled eggs - they also do giant marshmallow teacakes about 4 times the size of Tunnocks ones, in different flavours.
