3 sounds about right. Before my second marriage I had 3 on the go…late 40s and have a long time single friend also having 3 on the go at the same time . One lived out of town and 2 local. It was consensual but they didn’t know about each other as I wasnt dating anyone exclusively. I used to kiss them goodbye outside by their car in my long lacy vintage nightgowns. Neighbor was always going to work about that time and he would wave Goodmorning😂. Most people looking at me (conservative appearance) wouldn’t think this was true but it was enjoyable and fun and I felt pretty free after a pretty shit marriage. Women are sexual beings across the lifespan and some more than others.

@baroqueandblue it is kinda embarrassing to me now the nightgown business and I would only admit here anonymously! I googled Miss Beryl but didn’t find a nightgown connection. I think the nightgown represented a “I don’t really care” feeling I had at the time and they were so pretty I just loved wearing them. It was a bit of an exhibitionist behavior. Whenever I hear of something a bit wild or unexpected someone recently divorced has done I always think…oh yes the feeling of experimenting and being free.

I don't have much of an opion on CV, good or bad, but I don't see why she should be looked down upon for talking about having lovers. We're far too uptight in this country about sex, and a more relaxed approach to conversation about female desire can only help to destigmatise it. Words like "tacky" and "immoral" only reinforce the notion that sex is shameful and distasteful.

Absolutely. I’ve never had an issue with sexual confidence, or energy, and I’m of a certain age as well.😉

But, young or older, I’ve never shagged around - I prefer the emotional closeness of one man, and as I’ve been married twice, and now with a partner, I’m getting enough and always have had 👍. My choice.

Well, fair enough. She has a few men she has long standing relationships with that are casual in nature and provide companionship.

Do what you want in private and act with dignity. No one elses business. If you talk about it, desperate, tacky and attention seeking.
