She now only has a trio of three long-term “special” male friends on the go after previously enjoying the attention of five.
The maths whiz has always been open about loving her friends with benefits.

Is it reasonable for a woman of a certain age to have multiple lovers....not to mention the energy.

Is it unreasonable, immoral, and just plain tacky?

I didn't see it, but our heroine was on one of those Channel 5 afternoon programmes today. One of the discussion topics was, "is it OK to have multiple lovers?"

I think we all know where Carol's views lie....she has told us often enough.😀

Her choice, but I kind of hope it isn't true. Having a harem of men on call might be good as a fantasy, but in real life I'd be worried about STIs.

I think it probably is true, she has certainly said it often enough.

Carol was on TV tonight, her face seems have morphed into an older version of Jesy Nelson, the ex Little Mix member.

How can her own choice about her own life and body be “unreasonable “?

Another thread made me consider the fwb issue and I think the only time they are OK for various reasons is for older people.
People who are mature with grown-up children (or past child-bearing age), whose hormones have calmed down, no longer in, 'must find a mate mode' etc.
People are hopefully more able to express their needs clearly.

What I can't stand is when women waste their time in fwb arrangements when young.

Not every young woman wants a long term partner or children though. For those women, having FWBs is therefore not a waste. I never considered mine a waste of my time, on the contrary I’ve generally had a great time with them!

Good for her. She's not hurting anyone, unless she's in to that too.

Good for her having lovers, but I do wonder what’s behind the need to be perceived as sexy by the public when you’ve had that much life experience. I always notice it in her body language on quiz shows. She reminds me of me when I was 20 ish and thought my worth was defined by being attractive to men.

I think she is slutty and tacky, and yes, I would think the same of a man if he was elderly and bragging about his many sexual partners, it's pretty gross either way...in my opinion.

The saving grace in her constant repetition of how many men she has on the go is that she may encourage other elderly women who have written themselves off sexually, that age need not curtail a good sex life.
Though Mirriam Stoppard new book, 'Sex, Drugs and Walking Sticks: A Guide to Living Your Best Life in Your 60s, 70s, 80s and Beyond,' is probably far more educational and far less self-promoting.
