I’m young enough to be CV’s granddaughter and it’s just cringeworthy and attention-seeking, like what I did at 15 (that still gives me pangs of mortification).

To see a 65 year old woman thinking this is a flex is embarrassing.

She must have discovered sex at least 50 years ago, she can’t seriously think this is impressing anyone? If she genuinely enjoys having multiple lovers, then enjoy it in private.

Whilst I have absolutely no issue with older women having a sex life (I am an older woman, unfortunately without one) and agree the world should not be revolted or shocked by the concept of women enjoying sex and being attractive until their dying day, I find Carol Voderman pretty laughable. I know it has become 'her thing' to promote older women as sexual beings, but I really do not care about her sexlife, several friends with benefits or obvious and attention seeking. It just all seems very forced, and separate from the reality of women who are quietly finding new relationships in their 50s etc and having a lovely time. No need for an inflated bottom and boobs shoved into lycra or leather and screaming about your sex life like a teenager.

I find it hard to understand why so many women on here get very triggered when age is mentioned. Getting old should be seen as a blessing, it's far better than the alternative.

Not because she’s against the bragging part. It was the saying she thinks it’s cheap and slutty to shag around. Basically women aren’t allowed to enjoy themselves without being judged negatively by some. Women putting other women down yet again, it all comes to down to deep seated resentment, jealousy and competition.

Thats' my opinion, barging in a thread just to call someone nasty names says a lot more about you than me.

Normally I ignore people who do that, but as it's been brought up again I am happy to set you straight.

People who judge someone who is doing no harm to others and is enjoying themselves, deserve to be called out. Stay miserable 😘

But a person's opinions speak to the kind of person they are.

And a person who hides behind a keyboard, has nothing worthwhile to add, calls others nasty, childish names then scurries off like a little coward ... shows exactly what sort of person they are too.

It's obvious (by this thread) that some women think it's fine she sleeps around, others don't. Some think her bahaviour is fine, but to publicly talk about it is tacky. I happen to think that behaviour, whether it be a man or woman, is cheap, and to brag about it, cheap and slutty.
The fact that she is an older women....makes it morso, she should have learned to have a bit of decorum and class at the age of 65.

She is giving interviews to be noticed, so no one should complain because people here have noticed and commented.

That's my opinion, and it's also my opinion that the Carol supporters would think entirely different if an elderly man in the public eye gave several interviews bragging about all the different women he was having sex with.

Some will deny it, probably the same women who would banish a man from the home if he so much as farted.😕

I completely agee @NovemberMorn Shagging multiple people at the same time is nothing to be proud of, and it doesn't make you better than people who ... GASP ... choose to just have sex with one person!

I don't dislike her either, I always thought she seemed like the sort of woman who would be great fun on a night out, plus she obviously doesn't give a damn about what people think of her...(and that's obvious in the way she has often talked about sleeping around)
Though, she does state that she doesn't do 'one night stands'...so that's something at least. 😄

Hmmmm......I'm not sure it's to do with jealousy. Let's face it, most men are more sexually driven that most women (generally speaking) so it wouldn't be hard for any of us to have the opportunity to shag around.....and like one poster said, they regard both men AND women as cheap and slutty when they sleep around.

For me personally, I just don't (and have never felt the need) to shag around as I wouldn't have stayed in a relationship if it wasn't fulfilling in that way. I was with the same person from the age of 18 to 31 (and up to the age of 31 had never slept with any one else). However I don't feel I missed out sexuallly AT ALL as we had fantastic sexual chemistry. It didn't occur to me to shag around as I just didn't feel the need to look elsewhere. Plus I was SA'd when I was young, so I absolutely needed/need to be with someone who I felt/feels loves, cherishes and respects me. I couldn't be so blase about 'giving myself away' like that. That's not to say that I judge others....it's just not me and doesn't sit right with me at all. I'm a serial monogomist lol
Sadly, that relationship ended up being more and more emotionally abusive, but the sex was always great and the glue that held us together (along with a big dollop of traumatic bonding) - and probably why I stayed far, far longer than I should have......
