In other words, shut up and stop complaining, you plebs.
It sounds as if he has completely lost the plot!

That suggests he ever had it in the first place

I agree. I think most Brits struggle to understand how he ended up as President not once but twice! He appears to want a third term too.

rainingsnoring · 09/03/2026 03:20

Yes, golf sounds about his level, at least nowdays.

Oh, come on be fair - golf is a skilled game, he’s probably as rubbish at that as everything else.

It's fairly simple, he ended up as President twice because he won two elections. That said I fully agree with you that most Brits do struggle to understand the concept of democratic elections.

And if you are struggling to understand why Americans voted for him then the Jonathan Pie video provides an excellent explanation:

But he shamelessly cheats at golf, and has his caddies and groundsmen trained to drop substitute balls at advantageous positions.

He also has his publicist print forged certificates, press cuttings and magazine covers pretending he has win competitions, and displays these fictions around his homes, offices and clubhouse.

It is scarcely believable that a man in his position would stoop to such risible dishonesty.

But he does.

It is a measure of the man.

Agree, you only have to read MN threads on calling for a new general election or want Trump (Musk) to intervene in UK politics.

Or that the G&D vote was stolen....

You seem to have extensive knowledge. Fancy knowing what his publicist prints around his homes, offices and clubhouses and who drops what balls and at what 'advantageous positions'.

DuncinToffee · 09/03/2026 09:36

It has been widely reported and his cheating has been caugt on camera multiple times

HRTQueen · 09/03/2026 09:57

And we know he is an outright liar too, even with golf

How was this man ever allowed to be President. And yes I questioned why Biden was still allowed to be President when he obviously was no longer fit to be

Difference is Trump was never ever fit to be President. He never acts rationally, he just does what he thinks is right at that point of time with no thought for consequences. Unfortunaly winning a second term just fuelled this idea for him and allowed him four years to fester

Its shameful what has become of American politics and tragically across the world too

And given that you have zero evidence to back up your claims we can all conclude that tour entire post is made up bollocks.

There is a consistent pattern here on MN where it seems entirely acceptable to post complete misinformation and conspiracy theories with no evidence to back them up, in the hope that if the bullshit or hate is repeated enough times then maybe some of it will stick.

You seem to have stated the obvious there!
I didn't say that I don't understand why Trump won twice. I do. In fact, I've had robust disagreements about this on other threads on here. The Democrats failed to help ordinary Americans, while massively increasing the wealth of the already wealthy and then gaslight Americans, telling them that they simply didn't understand how marvellous everything was. Yes, the Dems were gobsmacked by what was a totally unsurprising result.
I'm not sure it's just the Dems that struggle with democracy though. I've seen so many comments from those who did not vote Labour calling for their removal from office.

You're referring to @Hyacinthbucketsgarden 's behaviour on this very thread, yes?

PerkingFaintly · 09/03/2026 10:26

And it's not just that @Hyacinthbucketsgarden hadn't yet provided evidence for their assertion.

But that they had to hand plenty of evidence actively contradicting their own assertion.

Yeah, a quick google would have allowed that poster to check for themselves. It's absolutely no secret that Trump cheats at golf.

Just as a quickie, watch this vid:

Did Trump Cheat at Golf? See the Video for Yourself

The president has long been accused of cheating at golf. A viral video of him in Scotland backs up the claim.

well if the EU were doing the fighting instead of the US then at least they would be taking into account the carbon footprint of their actions and making sure that there were no single use bottle tops.

Thats a pathetic response "bottle tops" sorry but it really should be beneath you.

Even you must realise the EU hasn't even got an army or military.

Though TBF, after your lot decimated our Military, the UK is struggling to get even one Frigate battle ready.

A 'person like yourself', like what? Do tell. If not knowing what his publicist puts on clubhouse walls or who puts what golfballs where means I'm 'in ignorance of the facts' then I am indeed guilty as charged your honour.

I'm sure you don't regret attacking me for mentioning something that is widely known.

Attacking you where? I said you had extensive knowledge of what his publicist puts on walls and who does what to his golfballs.

Anywayyy, moving on.
