1.Please say his name as it is supposed to be said - farage like garage

  1. Please don't vote for him he's one of Those Guys - smug, sweaty faced supercilious thickies
  1. All his policies are gash

I really wouldn’t worry about this because it’s not going to happen

This all day

I'm not even left wing, certainly not by modern measures.

I find it inexplicable that the modern right is so tolerant of the intellectually sub par within their own ranks yet so opposed to support in general for vulnerable people

You think the left support vulnerable people? When is that going to kick into action with the white working class girls who were raped?

They were white, nobody cares. That’s left wing Britain for you.

Yes, white is a dirty word in the 21st century, that's before we even get to being working class. I'm glad people are pushing back against the modern day form of fascism.

There is infighting in the CURRENT government. How about focusing on that.

well this thread is about Farage not Labour as is my response, sorry if that is confusing for you

There is always infighting in parties but when you have a small party and a number of large egos as Reform now have (and had already splintered) you have a problem and that is great news in my opinion

Infighting has played its part in ruining Labour’s chances on a few occasions less so for the Tories but the difference is that Labour is a well established party, as are the Tories and the LibDems with a wide range of policies that attract a wide range of voters, having a party that is solely focused on one issue does not attract voters in the same way look to Greens as an example

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 17/02/2026 21:51

I think they’re going to get in and yes they will fuck it up. I think to get rid of him once and for all we’ve got to let him sink alongside the ship and then hopefully we can try and rebuild the wreckage down the line.

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 21:54

I didn't get any further than this thread is about Farage. Even when it isn't, his name is shoe horned in. I think I can be forgiven for being confused about the sudden rule change.

Who is going to rebuild the wreckage?

Who is going to rebuild the wreckage?

The conservatives. Again, not perfect but compared to the current clown show ….

Conservatives caused all this - because of the shambles they turned into towards the end people voted Labour thinking they would be different. Now we’re stuck with the most useless government in history and as a result, Reform will follow. If they fuck it up, the conservatives will come back.

If Labour get in for a second term, Rupert Lowe will follow them.

Do you mean Reform are definitely getting in at the next GE, in your opinion

Yes.

Maybe you could spend less time ranting and more time reading? That way, you won't have to keep going off on one for no good reason. Just a thought.

Is that so? Well your interpretation of ranting really doesn't carry much weight. I take the opposite of your logic and proceed forthwith. That's a democracy for you.

Conservatives caused all of this by fucking up so spectacularly over so many years. The idea that they will save anything is laughable.

The onus is not on them to save anything but it's now on Labour. How's that working out?

I will definitely vote Reform. They may not be perfect but anyone would be better than this shot show.

You can ask what you like. I hope Reform get in or Restore. I hope the kick up the arse to the mainstream parties makes them rethink about resting on their laurels.
