Jean Hachet posted this today. Men going door to door in Sheffield looking for people who aren't boycotting Israel. The man grabbed one of the women by throat and headbutted her when challenged. Feels like something out of the 1930s

Jean Hatchet (@JeanHatchet) on X

There was a Jew hunt door to door in Woodseats Sheffield. We ended it within 15 mins because they didn’t like “Jew Hunt” shouting at them. They were collecting addresses of the non-supportive. The man in blue took our sign and then had Lightning Le...

It looks like authoritarian stasi shit, I don’t want some random on my doorstep asking me what I think of xy and z and then writing it down next to my address in their little notebook. The behaviour of a lot pf pro-Palestinians doesn’t bode well for anyone who doesn’t agree with what they say either does it. It feels like harassment. But of course they won’t see it that way because theres a big dose of moral licensing involved with these protests.

And now we have a bunch of absolute knobheads protesting Gail's because one of the original founders had the audacity to be Jewish and grew up in Tel Aviv.

Really I thought it was because the conglomerate Bains Capital that owns the majority of Gail's has invested $150million in Israeli cybersecurity and AI tech in the past year. Israeli AI tech has come under scrutiny due to their use in the Gaza war with programmes like lavender and Where's Daddy being used to send 'dumb bombs' blow up family homes whilst children are sleeping in their beds.

EsmaCannonball · 19/02/2026 13:31

It's all about creating a climate of intimidation, silencing dissent and then using that silence to claim the public agree with them.

I'm not Jewish but, having seen the behaviour of the Gaza MP supporters at the last election and the behaviour of the masked-up antifa types at protests, I would be worried about what these bullies might come back and do if I didn't go along with their worldview.

As for the Greens, they are basically the Iranian socialists heading for a shock in the late 1970s.

The treatment of Matt Lucas was disgusting, too. Demanding Jewish people (or anyone) chant your slogans, with a heavy dose of implied threat. Bit like when the Jewish man in Amsterdam was beaten and thrown in a canal and told he couldn't come out until he chanted those same words.

Aren’t people protesting Gail’s because of gentrification?

Seems reasonable if it's in the defence of a nation?

Its hideous. What rock are these people crawling out from? These views are abhorrent in this country, or used to be.

I'm not a fan of AI fullstop. Whether it's being used to kill kids, destroy the environment or destroy the future job market. I'd save my tears for independent bakeries that can't afford to keep the lights on not massive conglomerates profiting off the destruction of the planet.

Wwll yes I agree with that. But are you taking a stand on independent bakeries v chains or whether its right that Israel defend itself using AI?

I was taking a stand against a poster stating that Gail's was being protested against because it used to be owned by a Jewish person. I have no skin in the Gail's protest game, I have celiac disease so boycott all bakeries equally but if I had to choose I would pick an independent bakery over one owned by an AI funding conglomerate and I would hope others would too.

So the Israel part is irrelevant?

You just can't tell these days as a lot of people use Israel as an excuse to express their covert anti semetism. So I just wanted to clarify.

So Israel doesn't just pursue a war, it's goal is specifically to "blow up family homes whilst children sleep in their beds".
I mean that doesn't sound at all like blood libel....

Lavender identifies potential Hamas or Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) operatives in Gaza, and Where's Daddy then tracks the individuals identified. I'm pretty sure that Hamas and PIJ operatives are not innocent little sleeping children.

Dude I didn't say 'it's goal is specifically to "blow up family homes whilst children sleep in their beds". That's the problem with this whole thread isn't It? People seeing something and running with it. I'm not down with outrage politics so you can take your outrage out elsewhere.

Your highly emotive statement about blowing sleeping children up is classic outrage politics. Dude.

No that was facts unlike your posts accusing me of 'blood libel' for saying something I didn't and accusing protesters of protesting because someone Jewish used to own a business.

I'm out but in future maybe slow down, read posts and check their veracity before throwing serious accusations at people.

I used the term blood libel because deliberately ascribing the worst faith possible motives to Israeli actions, and exclusively Israel, is exactly that.

So instead of Israel fighting a war, they apparently deliberately seek to kill sleeping children in their homes.
You know exactly what you're doing with statements like that, don't try and now pretend you don't and suggest that others need to slow down and read posts - I did read your post, that's why I replied as I did.

I actually couldn't give a flying fk about Israel or Palestine or any other god forsaken place thousands of miles away.

I've actually been to Israel and the West Bank... Which is more than can be said for these lefty cucks.

I care about the UK and British people only and I'll die on that hill

I didn't suggest or discuss any motives. I talked about the outcome of using dumb bombs on buildings where children were sleeping. The outcome being those children were blown up. That's sadly what happened.

People can read this report from Jerusalem based investigative journalists about Israels use of AI and make up their own minds.

As in all wars, there are war crimes - why would Israel be different?

There is some evidence and questions about whether children have been targeted by snipers. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2024/apr/02/gaza-palestinian-children-killed-idf-israel-war

We have always decorated our windows for Christmas and Chanukah (my husband isn’t Jewish so we celebrate both). This year I actually paused before putting up our Chanukah decorations as the random people who come to our door (posties and delivery people really, we live in a culdesac) don’t really need to know we are Jewish. And then I decided to stop being so scared and do what we always did. My neighbour actually put a Chanukah card through our door to show their support which was really lovely.

But it makes me feel genuinely sick to my stomach to think what could happen if these sorts of people come campaigning around me. What does their list mean? Where is it going and what’s on it? When they see my mezuzah on my door is someone writing it down? Do I have to agree with them to get them to leave? How many are there and is it a load of men in keffiyehs and masks? All in all it would be incredibly frightening and I wouldn’t feel safe and I can do that every single day in town or work with the hate marches, I don’t need that in my home.

I think a lot about how I’d feel if this wasn’t quite so personal and I got to be a bit more removed but I think there’s nothing I’d feel great about being doorstopped about. I don’t like the Jehovah’s witnesses or the charity people or someone trying to sell me windows either. I just want my home to be a safe space.

Most Jewish people support the idea of a Jewish state after what happened in the holocaust. Many are appalled at what's happened in Palestine, but still support the idea of a Jewish state. This is 'zionism'

The people going door to door likely know this.

It's fine if they want to boycott Israel, fine if they want to organise an event with other people who want to boycott Israel or post about it on social media.

But to declare an area an 'Israel Boycott Zone' and go door to door making sure people are complying, and taking note of who isn't is intimidating, and that's what is designed to be. Scare people into complying. Especially when it's violent men doing it. It was two women that challenged them holding a sign supporting hews, which they snatched and ripped up.

They aren't going door to door demanding a Boycott of US goods are they? Or Iranian (who have killed a lot more muslims in 2026 than Israel have)

It's the age old Jew hatred trying to pass itself off as silly old lefties

Edited

It’s the age old trick of bullies trying to pass themselves off as the victims.

Those who are doing the recording are the ones doing the intimidating, anyone with a modicum of sense can see that.

SpaceRaccoon · 22/02/2026 09:55
