Treated myself to a Big tasty meal on the way home from work. Happily driving along in the dark and rain, listening to 90’s tunes 🤣
Dropped the bag evidence in the big bin round the corner from my house, getting soaked in the process, but all worth it.
Had to do the quick check of the car and car seat for any random bits-there was shredded lettuce-got rid.
Came in the house, coat off and Ddog smelling my hands, so I ran upstairs saying to Dh and Dd that I was tired 😂

I can never understand why an adult would feel the need to be secretive about what they eat. Eat what you want, when (obviously taking work etc. into account) you want. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve done this. I drive really slowly at the drive thru so I stay moving almost the whole time so Life 360 doesn’t give me up 😂.

Not a secret but sometimes you just want to eat quickly although asking everyone else if they want anything.

These threads come up regularly on Mumsnet - eating food in secret. Doing this never enters my mind. I don't see the attraction. Why is this a thing? Why is eating food in secret so exciting?

There's a YouTube account I watch in which the two blokes running it are guilty of this too. I mean, they're entertaining enough, but I die a little inside every time one of them says, "I've went," or "He's came" etc. 😭 🤣

For me, the thread was worth it because I got accused of being "odd" (it's MN, it was going to be that or "baffled") by someone who finds it "disturbing" - disturbing! - that people sometimes sneak a Maccy's in the car and enjoy it. I wonder what it's like to shock that easily!

I don’t think the police in my area enforce this rule, I’m shocked it’s even a thing. I have seen police officers eat and drive in the past and my uber driver yesterday was eating a full on meal as we were driving home. I don’t think I’ve ever been on a road trip where the driver didn’t eat at least once.

If I had had a sly Maccies I would have finished that meal off with a Strawberry milkshake 👌
