Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

So much total bullshit on this thread, it’s painful.

He’s just about the only political
leader who actually believes what there saying. That doesn’t mean I think he’s right about everything but in a country where political leaders appear to just be unprincipled mouthpieces for carefully curated policies / positions, it’s quite refreshing.

And yes, I include Farage in that, as most of the time he just comes out with lowest common denominator populist crap.

The amount of houses being built on the countryside in the county where I live is staggering. The greenbelt is becoming non-existent; ancient woods and trees have already gone; villages and small towns are doubling or tripling in size, basically becoming part of urban sprawl; and the amount of traffic is insane. The Green Party doesn't care about politically inconvenient green issues. It feels like parts of the countryside are being lost forever to sustain a level of immigration that nobody but global business corporations and ideologue politicians asked for.

I live in a village on the outskirts of Colchester. I have lived here 50 years and have watched it change from a quiet market town into a hellish, overcrowded dump. The hospital is at breaking point, the roads are choked with traffic, and all around the outskirts developers are jamming as many rabbit hutch houses on top of one another as they can.

Every village is being ruined. We're going to have 400 new houses built in the centre of ours. 400!! That's on top of the three new estates already built. Woodland, meadows, fields...all gone. The country lanes now have the kind of traffic you'd expect on a motorway, and at night I'm often woken by the screeching and backfiring of souped up cars.

The new estates that have ruined my own village are mostly inhabited by immigrants. What sickens me most is that I know many on the Left enjoy seeing lives ruined. Though they pose as morally superior, they are mainly driven by spite and hatred. A speechwriter for Blair said they planned to use mass immigration to "rub the right's nose in diversity and render their arguments out of date." Then, when I complain, I'm called a 'bigot' and a 'gammon' and a 'NIMBY'.

I will never forget what has been done, and I will never forgive.

Which is exactly why women should be worried - he genuinely believes men can change sex, and that women should have predatory men in their safe spaces.

He genuinely things a violent thug who broke a woman’s back with a sledgehammer deserved to get away with it

EsmaCannonball · 08/02/2026 10:27

All I am taking from that is:

a) he genuinely believes he can enlarge women's tits through mindpower alone

or

b) he genuinely believes the ok response when presented with a woman whose mental health is suffering because of misogynistic beauty standards is to scam her for money

Yes, let's make him Prime Minister. (Although, in that scenario, I'd predict the Gaza faction of the Green Party would throw him in prison before long.)

Nah, I just think these types of threads are created by opposing political parties; another stealth strategy to destabilise and manipulate the electorate. Mumsnet is another stealth place and it happens often, much like journalists who plant stories within Mumsnet too.

You don’t think mums should discuss politics? Why?

He may well believe in what’s he’s saying but imo that makes it even scarier. He’s clearly lost his mind.

His party are spending hundreds of thousands of ££ defending lawsuits from members they have thrown out and discriminated against for knowing that women don’t have penises. They have lost some already but plough on regardless.

He is occupying the political space for the environment with very little interest in protecting the environment at all. At a time when the climate change crisis should be front and centre.

Bertiebiscuit · 08/02/2026 12:49

I also can't understand why apparently young women are queuing up to join the Green Party, when the Leader is so obviously a misogynist male. Turkeys...... Xmas etc etc etc

*I quote from the Sun: “This is an extremely new approach but I can see it becoming popular very quickly, because it’s so safe and a lot cheaper than a boob job.”
Did he actually say that? He looks sheepish. “Yeah, I said that, because once you’ve accepted you’re doing it as an experiment, you go along with the absurdity of it.”

@Hairybuf you say He’s just about the only political leader who actually believes what there saying.

But the above quote says that he is happy to say whatever bullshit he needs to, he’ll go along ‘with the absurdity’ of something merely for a story in The Sun.

So on the one hand we’re supposed to believe he is honest and says what he believes, but on the other hand we’re also supposed to let him off the hypnotic boobs bollocks because he didn’t actually mean what he said.

I’m pretty sure he’ll say whatever he feels he needs to say at the time if it serves himself.

Wonder how he will wangle his way out of being rebuked by the police federation for celebrating that bloke who hit a woman with a sledgehammer.

I think because it's the lazy default protest option.
Young women are left leaning, and the Green Party is seen as the edgier alternative to Labour, even though there is nothing green about them.
Young men are apparently leaning right, and the divergence between the sexes there is worrying.

What do you mean, "there is nothing green about them"? Quite a bold statement probably backed up by zero knowledge!

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 08/02/2026 13:50

Unlimited immigration and building on the green belt?

What's green about about that?

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 08/02/2026 13:53

I don't see them as green.

YMMV

Why would any sane woman vote Reform though for example when they will strip away abortion rights and tax women who don’t have children ? Voting Green is not the worst option for women !

Absolutely.

Agree with you.

Yanbu, OP. Polanski is a privileged, sneering misogynist dickhead who identifies as being right about everything (ie, isn't).

He also doesn't give two shits about the environment. He's turning the Greens into a trans rights and Palestine party with a side order of socialism (as long as it doesn't make deluded men sad by telling them no).

I despise him. I would just possibly vote for him if the only other alternative was Reform, but it would be with a heavy heart. And I'd probably just spoil the ballot.

I’m so tired of this shit. The threat to women comes from everywhere- with trans folk at the absolute bottom of a long long long long long long list headed up, as we have seen, by elite white men and the women who assist them.

50,000 homes being built on prime green belt near me. Farmland and ancient woodlands are amongst the loss of nature and green land. And its just a sea of houses in its place and some schools. No other infrastructure. So everyone there will be driving to wherever they work or for leisure.

The threat to women comes from men. Once you let some men in, you have to let all men in.

Its not about someone being trans, its about them being male. Let some trans identified men in, you let all men in.

And that's where the risk comes from.

We created sex-segregated spaces to keep women safe. That need for safety has not abated.

I'm judging purely on what he spends the most time talking about.

He's a populist grifter. I am assuming, from your choice of language, that you're a fan - that's fine, you do you.

But I wouldn't put him in charge of the village fete tombola, let alone the bloody country.

Yes it's an absolute joke that Reform would stand up for women's rights for a start they want to get rid of the ECHR which protects women's rights including the prohibition of discrimination, which extends to gender-based discrimination in various rights and ensuring equal rights in marriage for spouses. You'd have to be averse to the slightest pulsation of logical thoughts, if you think Reform stand for women!
