Polanski is a buffoon

1000 replies

Bertiebiscuit · 07/02/2026 18:28

How anyone can take the Green party leader Zac Polanski seriously is completely beyond me. He has zero grasp of economics, beyond conning women out of ££££s by pretending he could hypnotise them to increase their bust measurements. He is the worst representative of gay men who worship the men pretending to be women, with no regard for womens and girls' right to privacy, dignity and safety. The man is a 24 carat buffoon.

It’s quite clear that the poster has the sum total of zero arguments beyond “I disagree with you and I am correct so you must be right wing”. Lazy is an understatement.

I didn't write, 'right wing', I suggested shilling for Bedenoch and Farage which it absolutely does come across as.

None of you are politically homeless though are you? You’re right at home in the current climate. Trump, Farage, Badenoch, most of the media are all right alongside. Life for trans people is pretty miserable and as far as I can see, life for women is no better as a result

For god's sake, we're crying out for someone to vote for. We're at home on the left but the left are hell bent on removing the rights of women by including men in their definition. And telling us they don't want our vote. Fine, they won't get it.

Calling us right wingers kept us quiet for a while but it won't shut us up now.

Women died for the right to vote and many of us feel that we have to spoil our ballots because there isn't a single fucking party that we can vote for.

Absolutely. If I were being very charitable, I would suspect they're quite new to the debate, and haven't yet had chance to learn more about other perspectives and think them through.

I wouldn’t piss on Farage if he’d been set alight by an asylum seeker.

Of course withdrawal from ECHR is mainstream. Just read about it.

No it isn't and you aren't doing a very good job of hiding it!

"mainstream view" yeah good one, another one shilling for Farage! We don't all surround ourselves with Brexiters and their farrago of obvious propaganda!

You seem over fond of tarring anyone who deigns to disagree with you as a 'shilling for Farage' Like other posters on this thread I am politically homeless and am neither a 'shill' for Farage, Polanski or any other political party leader. Are you a shill for Polanski, by any chance?

EasternStandard · 08/02/2026 18:22

Goldenbear · 08/02/2026 17:55

A) nobody on Mumsnet has to convince you of anything, we are disagreeing with you not canvassing for your vote! B) it won't work anyway seeing as you appear to be a Farage/Badenoch shill!

Labour posters always end up calling people shills. It’s tedious and they seem unable to grasp not everyone backs Starmer or Labour. Very few in fact going by polling.

I'm supremely PISSED OFF that there is nobody credible and sensible to vote for.

In a so-called democracy, half of the population's interests are being ignored. How can that possibly be the case in 2026? A hundred years since we got the vote and none of the parties give a shit about courting it. Or in representing the interests of half the land. It's fucking outrageous.

Goldenbear this is the fundamental problem with people like you.

You put people in boxes, and decide that there are only a few different boxes to be put in, and that if you’re in a certain box, you’re wholly “X Y and Z”

For example, you think someone is a man if they display masculine stereotypes, and a woman if they display feminine stereotypes. Then if they display nether , they are non-binary.
Rather than using common sense and seeing that man and woman aren’t identities, and that you can be the most masculine women going, never to wear a dress or snog a boy, and still be a woman.

You think of someone doesn’t wholly support every lefty/European policy they must be a Farage loving right wing lunatic. When actually most people are a bit right, a bit left, and usually somewhere inbetween.

Aside from the fact it makes you look a little unhinged, is this stance ever actually helpful?

Goldenbear · 08/02/2026 18:23

FMLGFastMovingLuxuryGoods · 08/02/2026 18:16

And I’m REALLY fucking sick that I, as an ACTUAL women, who has experienced CSA by a man, rape by a man and sexual assault by a man, discrimination on some level malt days of my life because of my BIOLOGY, not identity (I don’t have an identity BTW because woman isn’t an identity - I just AM a woman) get told I’m “privileged” because <checks notes> some men say that them perpetuating depressing sexist stereotypes make them women and therefore more oppressed than me.

This misogynistic attitude will be looked back on with total shame and we will tell our grandchildren about the loons that thought people could change sex if they parodied stereotypes of the opposite sex enough. We will say “Yea it really did happen and we were told these men in dresses were worse off than we were”

Yeah I've experienced one of those but I sure as hell know that pushing women away from all mainstream political parties towards Farage is not going to do fuck all for women's rights!!

Yes, it's hugely disappointing and so tragic that they can't see the massive own goal they score when they do this.

There's a wide open goal for them, they're being told in 50 foot high neon what the issues are, and still they wilfully ignore it. Then hand-wring or blame 'right-wing shills'.

I guess people who do that don't deserve political success, really.

Still, really frustrating.

Apparently everyone in their bubble reaaally wanted Starmer because he’s a great politician, rather than just to get rid of the Tories like most people. That gives a hint as to why he’s the most unpopular PM.

See my previous post of you putting people into boxes: being gender critical doesn’t mean women support Farage, just because he is also gender critical.

I couldn’t give two shits about Farage. I care about women - and when women like you think I need to STFU and accept “transwomen” as men, it feels like we have a much bigger problem on our hands than Reform gaining power

Swearing is allowed on MN BTW you don’t need to star anything out

No, you’ve brought Farage into discussion with posters who’ve never mentioned Farage. It genuinely seems to escape your notice that people realising men can’t change sex and transwomen pose a danger, can also be left wing. That attitude is so much of what’s wrong with the world today and how this gender nonsense has been allowed to thrive at the detriment and often lives of women

You do have an issue with being wrong don't you. Where do you get the impression I care about these issues. It is a huge distraction that impacts many people, it is a distraction from economic growth, the huge disparity between the rich and poor, the environment, the housing crisis. Poverty, for example, has a much greater impact on women's lives but I suppose that is a bit pedestrian for you. You sound like a massive sexist yourself calling a woman that doesn't agree with your argument, 'hysterical'. I mean of all the things to name call a woman that sounds like man speak!

No, because I’m not.

You just keep throwing the word at “Farage” at anyone who doesn’t agree with you. Like you’re making some sort of point.

What makes you think I don’t care about poverty?
But you SURELY can’t tell me that male violence and male sex offenders aren’t a pertinent problem for women?! You surely can’t say it’s just a distraction?!
in the U.K.:
1 in 4 women are victims of DV
1 in 10 women are raped
1 in 5 experience sexual assault.

The real question isn’t “why are we too focussed on this” - it should be “Why aren’t we more worried about this”

You sound like a massive sexist yourself calling a woman that doesn't agree with your argument, 'hysterical'

Would you like to apologise for telling lies?
really shameful to make things up, golden
