The one where the men get their jollies showing their cock and balls. There is a petition which is not getting much traction. You may want to sign if you don't want to encourage this.

Dread to think what will happen when the poor helpless children find out where they actually came from.

Yes darling, he does have his penis out. Why you ask? Because he wants to expose himself to people. No, it’s not the same as a flasher or abuser darling. Why? Because it’s on a bike silly!

He could walk down the street naked perfectly legally too...

"Yes darling, he choses to not wear clothes and when you're older you can make those decisions too"

Just like "yes darling, that lady had 5 piercing in her ear" or "that man has lots of tattoos" or "they decided to cross when the red man was showing"

Is that more the participants or the posters supporting them though? Because my examples were definitely aimed at differently minded posters.

I think if you're saying the participants are pervs, sex offenders, deviants etc then you're also implying the same about those who support them

K0OLA1D · 26/01/2026 14:11

I thought the same. Go us!

Can I join the cool club please??

this thread has cheered me up!

I looked at the website and it looks quite fun! Looks like a carnival and a mixture of smiley men AND women having a fun day. Some have pants and cover ups - some don’t. Couldn’t see any raging hard ons!!

they certainly weren’t waving their willies at people.

if you don’t like it - stay away from that very specific route!

bodies are normal. Naked bodies are normal. Naked doesn’t mean sexual.

WiddlinDiddlin · 26/01/2026 21:33

Jumimo · 26/01/2026 20:43

If you honestly think absolutely none of the men participating are doing so to get some sexual kick out of it, then you are very very naive.

So... if they're having nasty thoughts in their little pervy brains... but they're not breaking the law via their behaviour... what do you propose is done about that?

Do you think people can't have nasty perverted thoughts with their clothes on?

Do you think we should have some sort of thought police and a way of examining peoples thoughts to check they're not nasty in any way?

Do you think having unsavoury, nasty, illegal even, thoughts means that person is 100% guaranteed to commit that act or crime?

LittleMidlander · 26/01/2026 21:34

Screamingabdabz · 26/01/2026 13:47

Oh ignore the cool girls. 🙄

It’s the perverts’ dream to have public naked events like this. It is not wholesome or civilised. I’ve signed.

Exactly this. Those who unfortunately know how perverts get their jollies (I.e. anyone with more than a modicum of safeguarding training or insight into the mind of the average sex offender) will understand exactly why this is such a revolting spectacle.
I do not consent to seeing naked men in public.
Signed.

Sorry, I don't agree. At least I certainly don't think that about posters thinking it's OK. As I said upthread, working with sex offenders was eye opening in a great many ways sadly.

Think of how excited foot fetishists must get during sandal season. Maybe we should ban open-toed shoes, just to be safe. 😉

It just rings alarm bells why these men even feel the need to exhibit themselves in such a way. Need their hard drives checked.

AND WOMEN!!!

it’s to raise awareness of the vulnerability of cyclists - and other things. It’s legal, fun and peaceful (according to the website).

People who have perverted thoughts have them when fully dressed and just sat on the bus

They can have them over the innocent use of the word "naked"

They can have them over scenes in children's films

They don't need to be naked or at a well known and organised event

You don't have to consent to seeing naked PEOPLE in public, by going outside you consent to seeing anything legally allowed to happen. Which includes being naked.

Your consent is irrelevant when it comes to other people's state of dress in a public place.

ChampagneLassie · 26/01/2026 22:02

@Pinkmagic1 the original intention was to raise awareness of the vulnerability of cyclists via a vis cars; you may as well be naked to highlight that drivers should take more awareness of cyclists all the time not just when they’re naked. I think it has popularised into something more. I used to live on route and as a cyclist I’m a supporter. I want to raise my children without shame

Last year, our family were walking down The Mall. Unbeknownst to us, the naked bike ride was about to finish! We turned round to see hundreds of naked cyclists speeding towards us. Men and women, but mostly men. And a really surprising number of erections. Literally dozens, I would think.

Well the photos show plenty of women

And no one is erect and riding a bike. Literally not dozens

I don't imagine the organisers have put any photos of men with erections on their website. Nevertheless, I - and my family - saw plenty of men with erections. And it was mostly men, at least at the front of the bike ride.

I was very surprised. As I said, I am used to naturist settings, but this wasn't like a naturist settings.

Change ‘state of dress’ to ‘nakedness’ and see how that sounds. I do not consent to seeing naked men in public places. Whether or not they’re on a bike. Anyone who thinks that’s irrelevant either doesn’t GaF about anyone else, or naively thinks the average flasher is harmless.🤨

What happens to children when they see a naked person, do their heads explode or something?

I can absolutely guarantee what my kids would do. Teenager would laugh and nay label them ‘nonces’, 11yo would absolutely fall about laughing but not call them nonces.

Either way it’ll be an amusing sight.

Literally no man is able to cycle with an erection. And certainly not fast enough to be at the front

Naked people =/= flashers though

By leaving your house you are consenting to the fact some people might be naked or wearing revealing clothes

Because being naked is perfectly legal

Ok: your consent is irrelevant when it comes to other people's nakedness in public.

It's still just as true however you want to phrase it.

You can say you don't consent as much as you like, it has no meaning in this scenario.

It's not about giving a fuck about anyone else, it's the law.

People will do lots of unpleasant / strange / disruptive / rude things in public that you might not consent to. It's still completely irrelevant as long as they're not breaking the law.

The X pic showed them lounging about either before or after and - if the pic is genuine and not AI - certainly suggested that some of them were enjoying themselves.

cleaningthebog · 26/01/2026 13:38

Do you think it's healthy to normalise children seeing men with erections in public? I think this is a major safeguarding risk.

It's telling children not to be afraid of them.

Where does it say participants will have erections? When I saw the Naked Bike Ride, there wasn't a single erection to be seen. With the current miserable weather, it's even less likely.
