AIBU to think that the inappropriate behaviour started a long time before the wedding dance...??

Kissing your kids (like grabbing them and planting a smacker) is not inappropriate. I do it to mine and they laugh.

Making out she's inappropriate is inappropriate, they had a close relationship, now they don't.

FlyHighLikeABird · 24/01/2026 19:27

She's posing with him in public. Nothing weird here IMO.

Is this some creepy fantasy you’re having? You’re being really fucking weird.

While in a sexy dress on a catwalk of some kind

not entirely appropriate but yes it’s ok

Nevermind17 · 24/01/2026 19:29

I can’t see anything inappropriate in those pictures. So she’s dressed up and looks sexy. If she was wearing jeans and a hoodie you wouldn’t give it a second thought. Are mothers not allowed to hug their sons now, or kiss them on the cheek?

Luddite26 · 24/01/2026 19:30

Nothing to be seen here.

This is a completely normal picture.

That’s photoshopped. Her hair is completely different to the other pictures, but Brooklyn looks the same, at the same event.

I don't like this one. But only because it doesn't even look like she's looking at him. She's looking through him. She looks possessed.

MidWayThruJanuary · 24/01/2026 19:33

It’s inappropriate to kiss him like that in front of the media.

This

Can attractive people (esp women) not just live their lives and do normal things without miserable people deliberately, and in this instance a little disturbingly, sexualising normal behaviour.

Itcantbetrue · 24/01/2026 19:39

If you transposed David there you woukdnt think anything of it.
I can't help but it's her posing rather than actually being adoring if him ...ie using him as a prop and stand in for David

tinyspiny · 24/01/2026 19:41

If this is weird then I’m weird as I always kiss my adult son goodbye / hello .

PinkPanther57 · 24/01/2026 19:43

She’s trying to ‘launch’ him & promote him in a good light but there’s nothing sexually inappropriate here..

Is that tongue in cheek? If not you see nothing wrong with exploiting your DC for financial gain and fame?

Really? I wouldn't look at my sons with desire ... but then the whole family seem to lack normal boundaries with David kissing Harper full on lips. She's a teen! It's really inappropriate and bordering incest.

Otterdrunk · 24/01/2026 19:45

Op you’re not wrong it’s clearly OTT & performative. His expression /reaction says it all. Yes ofc it’s normal to kiss your kids & show them affection. It’s not however normal to maul & fawn & make a normal sign of affection such a camera opportunity. I’m not saying it’s inappropriate in the sexually inappropriate sense. It’s the making of normal gestures such an act & camera worthy. I’ve always felt the same about the David & Harper pics that everyone’s been desensitised to thinking is normal. That he’s spoken out about feeling like a brand must tell you smthg. Just bcos he’s a rich, nepo baby doesn’t mean he hasn’t been fukd up by it all. Apparently it’s quite uncommon (even for the likes of celebrities) to trademark your children’s own names. Think about that. How would you feel if your mother owned your name in that way for your whole life??

What about DB (?) he’s also responsible for ‘Brand Beckham’!

BooksandCats123 · 24/01/2026 19:46

I don’t think the kiss is inappropriate. I think they both didn’t take into account the effect fame might have on their kids.
Some kids can’t cope with it. I always think prince George always looks very unhappy and anxious, his sister seems to love it though, or if she doesn’t can hide it better.
