AIBU to think that the inappropriate behaviour started a long time before the wedding dance...??

So who thinks the first VB pic is more, less, or about the same level of appropriateness as this one (it might take MN a while to approve this):

Perfectly normal for a lad that age.mine looked uncontrollably if I turned up at school in a dog walking coat and hiking boots, they looked uncomfortable if I was dressed up to the nines going out with their dad.
Looking uncontrollably is often a default look for lads at that age. A couple of years later they are dead proud of you and want to introduce to everyone!

She can't hug and kiss her kids like 'normal' moms do because she's so image obsessed even when doing something that should be spontaneous .
Every image she's seen in you can see her body is positioned to be seen 'at its best', even Harper is beginning to do the same.
I don't for one minute think she's been innapropriate just a victim of her own vanity and insecurity.

The point is there's a period of time with lads that you can never win and you will be a total embarrassment with whatever you do, whatever you say and what ever you wear! If you give them a kiss its wrong, if you dont its wrong.

The difference for me is that the child is the one doing the hugging so the child has chosen that and has agency

I don’t think these pics are that weird bc I’m imagining on the other side of the photo, there was dozens of photographers stood at different angles. And you basically posted the b-roll images as opposed to the head on, posed angles she’s aiming for.

Don’t know if been said here or elsewhere but the stuff coming out about Brand Beckham is not helping them at all. Like Mel B’s ex recently posting that D & V came over to his for D’s first ever tattoo - of Brooklyn’s birth date on him. Except they couldn’t remember it & had to call V’s mum to check. says it all really.

It looks to me that Brooklyn is most uncomfortable in the environment with all the photographers clicking away, rather than with Victoria (although she's possibly not helping). He has spoken of suffering with anxiety and it's radiating off him here. It's a shame he couldn't have been left at home to watch telly or play X box, like other kids his age.

I've got a massive 15yo ds who often reaches down to give me a big hug or kiss me usually on the top of the head or forehead.

I've also got an 11yo ds thst I frequently cuddle and plant kisses on his cheek or forehead. He does a thing where he pecks me on the nose.

All normal behaviour and a shame that VB and BB used to be affectionate and are now alienated.

I think its good to comfort your children. I wouldnt advocate for kissing on the lips though. Some parents do that.

Hawking them out to the media and putting them on the red carpet to perform (as VB does so weirdly) is inappropriate. Lots of adult actors have said they loathe the red carpet because it's so unnatural. I've often thought the same thing is happening to Harper. She shouldn't be promoted in that way at such a young age.

I also think they used their children as cover for their 'inauthentic relationship'. VB clearly relied on Brooklyn when David was playing away. And I think David Beckham uses his close relationship with Harper to distance himself from Victoria. I've noticed that when Harper is in a photo with the parents, David is always holding her hand or hugging her and pretty much ignoring Victoria. It must be very odd for Harper to be used like that. Perhaps it's because Victoria can only pose in one way, looking down and slightly turning her head to the right that no one can pose normally around her. It must be odd to be in a family photograph while your mother is frantically pretending to be a model. It will be interesting to see if they dial it back now they know the affect it had on Brooklyn.
