That's the point I'm making, I don't think other NATO countries will respond if article 5 is invoked. NATO members are in a position to make it clear that if Trump invades Greenland they will respond and they haven't.

The overriding thing I came away with once you’ve stripped aside all the rhetoric and waffle is that he feels the USA is hugely under appreciated . The contribution the USA makes keeps nations safe from Russia , Iran , China . He wants NATO to step up.

Could you imagine if any politicians in this country said just one of the offensive things he has just said? The press would be all over it and they’d inevitably be forced to resign. Does that not happen in America??
