I think he has finally lost any marbles he had in his tiny little brain!

Pissed off that The Ordinary is owned by Estée Lauder - I love it but I’m not buying it anymore. It was the heir to Estee Lauder who convinced Trump to target Greenland.

Estée owns a lot, Clinique is one I know of off of the top of my head.

I haven’t seen it yet. But have you listened to all of it from start to finish or just the sound bites? The media time again prove they’re nothing more than propaganda mouthpieces. The BBC are actually being sued for a dr’d speech he said that made the context of what he said the complete opposite. The speech was about an hours long so if you’ve only seen about 5 minutes of it then you’re misinformed and should listen to it all before passing an opinion.

I’m not going to spend any time listening to that orange lunatic.

It’s bad enough that he stood in Davos, a German speaking region of Switzerland and said “without us, you’d all be speaking german”

It was bloody brilliant!! Those woke shite governments deserved to have their noses rubbed into the mire.

He lobs a bomb into the inert morass to initiate action.
About time someone told NATO and Europe the lie of the land.
They alone CANNOT defend Greenland that’s the reality of the impoverished Forces in Europe.

WAKE UP TO THE REALITY!
The wastrels of Europe have been riding on the shirttails of the US for years.

Time to pay your way and stop playing empathetic suicide by allowing unlimited low value migration

Nothing Trump does is brilliant, he's a mental case! He's a massive fan of pollution, how the hell he can be a climate change deniar when live in fucking Florida which is disappearing under water is beyond me! In 2024 they experienced the worst hurricane storm surges they ever had which absolutely totalled the Gulf coast!

He doesn't think of tie impact of anything he does, he struck Venezuela out of pure greed for their oil, did he think about the damage his antics might have on the economy of the rest of the Carribbean when people get nervous to book trips there in case of further strikes and sudden airspace closures? He's threatening Iran which causes problems again for flight paths which now have to avoid Iran and all the other conflict zones. So it becomes more long winded and unnerving to fly to South East Asia etc.

We don't need the US, we need solid relationships with our fellow European countries and good trade deals, we don't need to be shipping in his dirty, chemical and bacterial laden produce, he can keep it. Neither do we want to be like the US in terms of their stupid gun fetish.

I don’t understand how many people on this thread haven’t got that. It was a line in the speech that is the subject of the thread. Are people just commenting without having bothered to actually watch it?

I get it but no I couldn't watch it as many of us were out at work at the time. I saw a few live updates on my phone and was cringing at what a twat he was making of himself and had no intention of watching anymore of it in my own time when I got home

I wonder is JD Vance is just as batshit, have noticed him pulling the odd face during some of Trump's speeches, like he didn't have a clue that batshittery was about to come out of his mouth

Vance is an exceptionally intelligent man, Trump is not.

Nobody knows what Trump is going to say before the speeches. It’s unprecedented because obviously usually these speeches are scripted and their team know precisely what will be said. Trump gets given a script but he just says whatever the fuck he wants. It’s always a complete surprise.

I think Trump is autistic. I heard somewhere he eats the same meal every single day and has other stringent routines. It all fits IMO

This is so fucking offensive I don't know where to start.

Why is it? We are forever told about how "my child will only eat chips because they are autistic" and "my child melts down if they have a change of routine because they are autistic" well what are you expecting people to think about autism when this is what we are always told! We can only know what people with autism or autistic relatives tell us!

He isn’t autistic, he’s got a low IQ. His vocabulary is incredibly minuscule.

Trump is a socio-path, not autistic.

I haven’t seen this belief reflected anywhere but feel that this whole Greenland thing has been a rather clever diversion to take attention away from the Epstein files. Aren’t there still some yet to be published? Has the world been sucked in?

If that is true it proves he is a sociopath the stress, anxiety and disruption he has caused in Greenland is unforgiveable. I was watching videos of elderly citizens who were so upset and worried said they were not sleeping and sick with worry. Who the f**k does he think he is that he can completely disrupt peoples lives like that. He is running America like it is Trump inc. and every other nation like business to negotiate with. The world and society are about a lot more than making money but he does not see it that way at all. Nothing he says can be trusted because he changes his mind so frequently. I actually think it is pathetic that everyone just sat listening to him go on for over an hour with utter rubbish, inaccuracies and misinformation and insult so many nations as if he and America are the GOAT when the opposite is true, they are such enablers not a backbone among them.

As the old Egyptian saying goes: "Oh Pharaoh, who turned you into a tyrant?" "No one stopped me," he replied.

StandFirm · 22/01/2026 08:54

I'm convinced that a big part of his mission is to make the world loathe the US so that even when they get rid of this administration the country -and its voters sadly- will be deeply distrusted and disliked, leading to a long period of isolation (and therefore decline). I really wonder whom that serves...

NoisyViewer · 22/01/2026 08:56

I feel soooo sorry for the Americans. They have a sick child for a president, making himself (and the USA) ludicrous on the world stage. He doesn't have even the vaguest grip of what is going on. He's laughable.

Can someone please explain the difference between Iceland and Greenland, and between Denmark and Norway to the demented old sod.

It'll be a long time before anyone can take the USA seriously again.

Why? He’s bought industry back, their stock markets are booming, he’s reduced the cost of pharmaceuticals, stopped Illegal immigration, reduced pharmaceuticals prices, has stopped government wastage, exposed corruption, pays less into NATO, is currently passing a bill stopping big companies buying up single occupancy & first homes & bought gas prices down. He is America first hence why the European leaders don’t like him because it means we have to pay more for the things America had subsidised. Whilst his approval rated has dropped in America if an election was run tomorrow he’d still win.

Edited

He spoke about wanting Greenland long before Epstein became a much bigger headache. He didn’t need this to deflect attention. He has just literally taken a leader of another country out of his own home and put him in a cell in America.

esperanza5 · 22/01/2026 09:02

The man is making a laughing stock of the US. But why do they let him ramble on and on and on like that? The people who pander to his nonsense are as ridiculous as him.

People just watch Trump to laugh at him. "All I want is that big piece of ice..."

No mention at all of the people who actually live on this big piece of ice. Idiot.

WTF did he say about Somalis - I heard something like - "We all thought they had low IQs, but ..." I was dozing off at this point, his tone is so monotonous. Did he actually refer to Somalis as 'low IQ?" Why did nobody intervene and take him off the stage?

Do the people around him really not see what everyone else in the world sees? How is this moron allowed to be inflicted on the world?

He was getting Greenland confused with Iceland.

WTF was that drivel about "they call me daddy" in reference to Iceland (meaning Greenland).

Utter shambles in plain sight.

And then, an hour later, the penny has dropped that no European leaders will even entertain a discussion about "giving over Greenland" (as if it's theirs to just give away anyway). So now he's had that reality check, he's trying to save face with some "amazing deal" a.k.a what could have been easily achieved without his threats of invasions or stupid tarrifs. Imbecile. It's embarrassing to watch.

And you think "wanting" another autonomous territory is normal acceptable behaviour for a leader? Anyway it wasn't me that suggested it was anything to do with Epstein, I don't think he cares about that at all he knows he is a Teflon President. I am annoyed that he thinks he can walk all over people's lives because "he wants" to, so as I said likely a sociopath

What industry?

I know he said he was going to bring industry back to America during the tariffs fiasco, but has anything changed? It's only been 12 months.

Where did I state I was ok with trump wanting Greenland?

I didn’t so I’d appreciate you not assuming. I just said I didn’t believe it was a tactic to divert the Epstein scandal. How you came to that conclusion shows insular your mind works that any defence on Trump intentions means I must be in favour of his actions. No, that’s ridiculous assumption, I was purely stating the truth how I see it.

I listened to it live and I assure you it was bloody bonkers, made no sense whatsoever and was fairly insulting not only to past presidents but to most of the people in the room.

Congress voted that they should be released, and a deadline of 19/12/25 was set. That passed over a month ago.

esperanza5 · 22/01/2026 09:12

He does these long incoherent rambles about 'windmills' at any and every opportunity. He's just pissed off because the ones in the North Sea are visible from his golf resort at St Andrews.

Mainly because some of the biggest states are red states. It's a bit like Brexit. Northern Ireland didn't stand a chance even though we voted a firm no.

I’m going to listen & you’re most certainly probably correct but in truth the European leaders do need a dressing down so it’s probably the one thing I’ll be nodding along to
