Romano Valente claimed to have attended Cambridge University. When The Courier queried this, he deleted the claim from his FB profile and then claimed that it was a joke.

Yes Europe hasn't spend enough on its own defence but thats changing, Germany is spending 100s of billions extra on defence, UK too has promised to double its defence spend to 5% of GDP.

We are also spending much more on Ukraine's defence too, rightly, far more than the US.

So i disagree Trump has any valid points left to make, all he is doing now is trashing European/USA relationships & that'll affect the US too as we'll gradually wean ourselves off your military hardware.

Australia the same. I can't believe how useless that much vaunted American Constitution and American political system really is. We have a written Constitution but we would never get to this stage because the parties will sort them out if they start going even a little ga-ga. And we the people have actual control (not like the Americans who claim it) because we give direct feedback to our elected reps who are NOT funded by vested interests. The few who do cling tightly to vested interests are widely viewed as highly suspicious and their parties tend to be kept on very short leashes.
