Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

I really rate the VB make up brands, but wonder what this drama will do to the brand. It’s not exactly aspirational…

It’s becoming the “in thing” for profoundly privileged nepo babies to publicly slag off their high profile parents.

I think the majority of parents - except for really closed down people - feel a lot of guilt and regret a lot of the time, and sometimes about things that really matter or that they could have helped, but often not. It comes with the territory of parenting and most do their best but still get told by their teens they are embarrassing or by their adult children that their childhood was missing some critical factor.

The majority of parents care and try, but people aren't perfect. Added to that, social mores change and they are then judged by the altered attitudes so parenting is a moving target. My cousin has just told my elderly aunt that it was controlling of her to take her and her siblings to church services. As my aunt said, she usually couldn't be bothered and would have preferred a lie-in but had been conditioned to think getting them up and off to something "wholesome" on Sunday morning was a good thing. She was trying.

I think it will be interesting when the current generation of young and young parents are facing the analysis of their efforts by their own dc.

I really, really disagree (for the Beckhams). This isn't Molly Mae off Love Island doing a statement about her breakup with Tommy Fury the same week her clothing brand and documentary launch. The Beckhams have tried to go for classy entrepreneur and this is all very embarrassing.

She'll be absolutely broken and I do feel for her,to be publicly ridiculed by your first born must be hellish.

This is so accurate & well put. The horrified posts on babies being well wrapped & left in the garden in the past & crying it out at times, testament to that! People have very short memories & this was received wisdom of parenting past.

I was brought up by a woman born in 1890, she did her best but I absorbed her values. I was destroyed at school :).

I can only imagine that everyone involved is devastated that it has come to this stage, it is possible to feel empathy for ALL of them as it’s clearly a culmination of stuff over years that’s now imploded so publicly. There’s no winners here, except the vultures gleefully crowing that VB, DB and BB deserve the vitriol on this thread.

You’ve described so many on FB & posh or horse ‘influencers’ etc few seem to snap - although don’t disagree.

The products speak for themselves by now, excellent quality and there is no reason why this story should affect the brand, at least the cosmetics side.

I am just thinking that certain people ie Anna Wintour would step back from this chaotic family.

if I liked the eyeliners or whatever from her brand (which tbf I have heard are excellent) I wouldn’t give a shit about the Instagram posts etc and would just keep buying them.
