Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

All so sad

@mumofoneAloneandwell yeah your safe with Hozier. I can't go for a man with thicker hair than me 😆.

Talking of hair, I wonder who took longer to do theirs back in the day!

😂😂😂😂 omg he’s gorgeous!

I’ve decided that he doesn’t do anything to his hair other than shampoo it, but it’s still perfect 😌😌

(becks defo spends longer on his hair than posh!)

Known people who have met the Beckhams through hospitality and everyone cannot say enough nice things about them. DB very charming and loves his wife and VB equally charming. People in hospitality can be overlooked/ ignored at best yet the Beckhams have earned a reputation for being polite and ‘normal.’

I won’t deny a woman a good messy night out, I’ll give her that 😂😂😂 - she’s messy though girl 😬😬

But what about Harper? They would've been very aware of the damage social media had on their children by then.

exactly. I often think she is in her mid 20's the way she is dressed and paraded around. I just checked this evening. She is 14.

May be am ultra conservative but have a look at some of her photos. Her outfits are not quite inappropriate yet adults (to me)

Its not about the dress exposing quite a bit of cleavage of an 11 year old. Its the whole presentation. Then being posted ad infinitum on social media by the parents. Same parents who are in Davos speaking of dangers of social media for kids. Hmmm?

She even gets rewarded for good grades with a trip to look at makeup.

They should have called it “first”

as he was first baby and first celeb baby

😂😂😂.
He was too pretty in the 90s and had better hair than I did. I think he looks a bit seedy now. He certainly ain't no James Norton!

Yes and he had the squeaky girly voice like the guy from corrie -

phwoar James Norton bone structure 😍

Maybe, but do you publish that to the whole world and with the wording he did?

It’s completely unforgivable. I imagine his dad and the siblings are fuming too

He wouldn’t have done it if they had honoured his wishes. And he probably would have come round in time.

I would have had more respect for Brooklyn if he’d given a more balanced statement. The cold, calculating viciousness of his attack was quite shocking, with not even a shred of love shown for either parent. He had over twenty years with his parents prior to meeting Nicola yet cannot find a single good word today about them? He also made no acknowledgment of the impact his behaviour might have on his younger sister, his brothers or his grandparents. Let’s not forget either that the other three children appear to support their parents completely so his words will hurt them
deeply. I understand that he has grievances that he wants to air, but if he could have presented them in such a way that demonstrated just the tiniest bit of appreciation or regard for his family, I would have had a lot more respect for him.

Why, if there is nothing to appreciate/be grateful for? (Playing devils advocate). If what he says is true- the children were used as a prop for most of their lives. maybe he more so as the first born & Harper as the only girl - perhaps the other two were relatively protected as a result.

Edited

I have been here years and I don't think I've ever seen a post by someone wishing to go NC with their family be told they should be appreciative or grateful for having them.

That I do find inappropriate. She was only 11 at that time, no time to be going on about makeup and wearing adult style clothing showing off a cleavage.

There’s his version, there will be her version then there’s the truth. I do believe some of what he said, but i also think there’s been some extra spicy exaggeration thrown in

Remembertobekind · 20/01/2026 23:00

I do think Brooklyn under-rates the enormous privilege he grew up with. He has had opportunities that would never have come his way apart from his parents. I suppose it is as the late Queen said, "Recollections may vary". It seems very unfortunate that he couldn't discuss matters privately with his parents who, whatever faults they may have had, are undoubtedly devastated

Samdelila · 20/01/2026 23:00

Stayinitstoocold · 20/01/2026 11:47

But there are reports of it not being the first dance, that they’d already had a dance and she’d danced with her dad? The way he’s described it is his opinion (or more likely hers) she could have been cuddling her son on his wedding day, all perfectly normal things. It’s truly horrible for a son to say that to the public about his own mother.
It’s unforgivable

Where are the reports of VB and Brooklyn’s dance not being the first dance?
Who says VB was shy to go on stage? Where did you hear that? Also, do you really think Brooklyn is likely to mistake VB giving him a motherly cuddle with VB inappropriately dancing “on” him?
