Yes, we don’t know the full story, but so many things being said about the dance story being untrue-they had already had their dance, she’d also danced with her father, Vb was reportedly called onto the stage by her friend, Marc A and was shy to do so. She comes across as a very awkward, sad person, David seems to dislike her and speak down to her. I can imagine she must be devastated and so humiliated by this. No matter the issues, Brooklyn shouldn’t have issued the problems publicly.
I know a lot about issues with Mil’s but my instinct tells me that this could be her and perhaps she has been difficult from the start. She doesn’t have a reputation for being a nice person at all, even before all this and it’s been said there may have been similar situations in the past with an ex of hers.
In comparison, I’ve never seen anyone say a bad word about Vb, the opposite in fact, she seems to have a great relationship with all her other children and the partners, plus a good relationship with Db’s family
She just must feel so devastated and humiliated, your first born that you held in your arms as a baby.

All so sad

Thing is, surely there were hundreds of people at the wedding? Surely one of them can corroborate what Brooklyn or conversely Victoria is saying? There's only one truth regarding the dance, and there are plenty of people of this Earth who know what really happened.

Someone has, 2 people in fact, a DJ and his husband who were there. The husband said that Brooklyn is telling the truth about the inappropriate dancing.

Kingscallops · 20/01/2026 16:08

Stayinitstoocold · 20/01/2026 15:27

You feel sorry for her?! She worked closely with them, was almost friends with Vb, knew he was married & had kids and did that?
Yes HE is much more to blame as being the married one and I dislike him, but I also wouldn’t feel sorry for a woman doing that

Bit of selective female solidarity going on there!

What is 'inappropriate dancing'?

Its not very likely to have been written by him though is it

Isn't it?

Duckyfondant · 20/01/2026 16:10

With the Beckhams and their PR machine, I'm suspicious of threads like these. I'd guess Brooklyn wanted to hit her where it hurt; her reputation. Fair play to him

Yes you would think the terrible hardship of being in this supposed 'brand' family may have been made easier by all the cars, the holidays, the luxury.

I bet everyone thinks their parents are 'controlling' they have to be to a degree it's their job

All the people reading this dramalama who had abusive childhoods, alcoholic parents, poverty etc etc will think his lies about first dances and silly wedding dresses are an absolute joke.

Edited

On the contrary, I grew up with an alcoholic, neglectful mother and father (in what would be considered a 'poor' home) and went NC with my mum, and I think good for him, these things aren't easier if you're rich or poor. I'd never tell someone telling me they were abused that they weren't just because of who their parents are and the circumstances you grew up in.

Jellyjog · 20/01/2026 16:15

I'm just waiting for people to start talking about David's affairs. They can't get into the mainstream press but they are quite wild.

The idea this dance was worst experience of his life…No words.

I think in some ways it might even make it harder. Yes, if course hes had a very comfortable life, but he knows that and despite all that he still cant "make" himself happy. That in itself if quite hard to live with.

And all the stuff about him being talentless/never had a proper job. In a world where image has been everything since the day he was born, don't you think he'd feel that?

It's a shame he hasn't been able to do more with his privedge, but I understand why he hasn't.

@AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta !! I was doing so well on my social media hiatus 😂😂😂 but I was lured back by this news that urgently required discussing 😂

more celeb gossip in 2026! 🍾🍾

The wedding outfit was a bit bride like.
MIL gown competition.
You can see in every pic that Vic is front row, silly pout, gently blocking anyone around her.

Those photos were awful, and the only reason he felt empowered to produce a book full of them is because he’s Brooklyn Beckham.

Any other child would be told to have a stern word with themselves, and either get some training or put the camera down and get a real job.

Or study their chosen craft from the bottom up.
Poor sod was on a hiding to nothing with the photography..he didn't have clue.

southerngirl10 · 20/01/2026 16:26

Apparently she ate Brooklyn's last packet of cheese and onion crisps. He'd been waiting to eat those all week!!

NeelyOHara · 20/01/2026 16:30

Interesting that’s Beckhams PR and defenders seem to be focusing on tiny details to disprove like the dress and how long it took, but are ignoring stuff like calling him ‘evil’ the night before his wedding, and trying to force him to sign away his name to them in the upcoming weeks to his nuptials.

justalittlethought · 20/01/2026 16:30

I'm not at all a fan of VB or David B or, maybe I should say, indifferent. Don't like the whole influencer thing.

But it's definitely the case that certain children see the world very differently, and more negatively. Especially those with an anxious/depressive disposition.

I have two kids and one (16) is like this. When anxious/stressed the most awful words and accusations come out of their mouth. I'm not proud but I've said 'you're horrible' as what he's said has been atrociously horrible. I do know that sometimes it's probably due to being in what I call a 'stress bubble'. I don't think they have any recollection of this afterwards. Often uses expressions such as 'you don't do anything for me, you don't love me', when we are very, very close and I do a lot for them. They've calmed down lately and, as I say, they can be incredibly loving and huggy.

But it's a bit of threading around egg shells. Sometimes nowadays - not talking about physical/sexual/serious abuse here - but in today's world there is so much about 'boundaries', 'what my parent said' and youngsters now look to TikTok and SM and see 'perfection'. I guess most of our childhoods could be seen as lacking in comparison.

Families do (maybe not all, but many) have different opinions, shout, say awful things very occasionally, but then kiss and make up (metaphorically!). But that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

Often I find the people that go NC - again not all but it's such a growing phenomenon - can't live in the grey zone, it's all black and white. I do wonder whether more are on the anxious/depressive spectrum and ND?

Children are not always right. Children don't always remember things correctly either. Kids can be 'narcissists' too. Often the people I've met who have gone NC could be described as rather self-centered too. The ones I've met are very concerned about their image.

Again not all but we are seeing a tsunami of people going NC. I think that's cruel.

Unable to say, but they are generally well known amongst the media circuit. The Beckhams have similar control of the mainstream press to the Royals. If they don't want stuff to come out, they can normally stop it.

But at the same time a lot of people have anxiety and depression BECAUSE of their upbringing (of course, not saying ALL).

are you on the media circuit then?? there seem to be a lot of people on here who have inside knowledge but can't say any more than - "oooohhhhh........ I know something you don't know & I can't tell you but I can tell you I know because I am on the inside"

The 'first' dance thing is weird, we all know ow it wasn't it's been reported in many places that they'd done all that. So if BB os varying his recollections about that what else is he making up.

I bet as the op says her 'inappropriate' and 'on him' dancing was just VB being awks dancing. How awful to humiliate her like this.

So you love Trump and Vicky B, fascinating.

Yes there are lots of children who grow up in awful circumstances, getting physically, verbally (and I don't btw think someone saying' you're evil' without context is verbal abuse) and sexually abused.

But often, in truth there is generally a disposition there. You can in many cases notice it from when they're babies. So in a sense, nature influences nurture - in that the kid may be more difficult to deal with, inflexible etc etc which leads to more stress in the family or in the mother.

That's why it's often so unfathomable as the other siblings - not talking Beckhams here specifically - can't reconcile the person going NC with what they saw or experienced.

Another typical feature of people with anxiety/depression - not all! - is they have an external locus of control. That is to say, they see their lives as influenced more by external events rather than their own actions.

pottylolly · 20/01/2026 16:50

The Beckhams’ PR is working overtime to argue against the minor details but, if you actually read the posts of people who know / knew the Beckhams, they’re all essentially saying the same things.
