Traitors, who do you root for?

RetainersinSpainnotontheplane · 18/01/2026 21:43

I root for the faithfuls even if I do prefer the personality of some of the traitors.

One of my kids roots for the traitors and thinks it’s deeply weird I don’t.

So just to see if I’m actually weird…

YABU = Traitors all the way
YANBU = Go Faithfuls

Stephen for me. It’s all about the likeability of particular players and he comes across so well.

I’m another one who really dislikes Roxy - some of her outbursts are teenagerish and she seems to constantly be biting her nails (from stress?) on camera.

ANiceBigCupOfTea · 19/01/2026 06:33

I was team faithful until Jessie left. Realistically the traitors deserve the win at this point.

Bottomofthedeepbluesea · 19/01/2026 06:37

Honestly, none of them. I find the entirety of the remaining cast totally unlikeable.

mrssunshinexxx · 19/01/2026 06:41

Traitors !

Allswellthatendswelll · 19/01/2026 06:57

I love Traitors. But I think a flaw of the game is that all the good faithful often go before the endgame. Although in previous years I rooted for Jaz or Alexander. This year they are just meh now Jessie is gone.

Can't warm to Rachel but she'd deserve to win. So probably Stephen!

JH0404 · 19/01/2026 07:11

Jade is my favourite I want her to win, but also love Stephen.

SpringBulbsPop · 19/01/2026 07:19

I really like Rachel and Stephen.
Very glad Fiona’s plan backfired, she was hideous.
Agree about Jessie being incredibly brave.
I can’t abide James. The man is so childish with zero charisma. He really grates.
I don’t really have an opinion on the interchangeable men.

Jade’s backstory had me in tears! She’s so young. Bless her 💛

tilypu · 19/01/2026 07:29

I thought Roxy was great when she stood up to Harriet, she was absolutely right to. Harriet (who was one of my favorites, I also really liked Amanda), handled that really badly. She went in like she was queen bee, and that her voice was the most important. She had said what she wanted to say, and it was right that Roxy called her out for not giving Rachel the chance to respond.

I don't think Fiona is as daft as she came across - but what she did was really daft. There was no way that Rachel and Stephen weren't going to gang up to oust her after that. And they didn't have to work too hard at it, she dug her own grave.

This season I want the traitors to win. They are playing a better game. I wanted Nick and Joe to win the celebrity version - can't believe how daft Nick was at the end!

Passaggressfedup · 19/01/2026 07:34

Yeh me too, and much as I love it I wonder if production doesnt get involved
Sadly they made it way too obvious this season and thays why I can't get excited about it despite the entertainment.

The whole hariett outburst totally out of the blue, the suspicion over Rachel that indeed goes more than quiet suddenly, the oh by the way I spent 4 months with the CIA that no-one questions...

A lot of crap but hey ho, that's TB nowadays. The communication experts know exactly what geys the viewings and it all comes down to money in the end.

hollytheheroic · 19/01/2026 07:38

Odditea · 19/01/2026 03:38

Is anyone else wondering if Matt’s fiance is in fact Stephen?

No

InnerAnger · 19/01/2026 07:43

I go by personality and who I like.

I like Stephen this year. I dislike Rachel for that comment she made to Josh about what it was like in the turret. I hated that passive aggressive comment. However, I would support a traitors victory this year. They are actually acting together as a team of traitors and I think the traitors have been worked harder this series than any other. So they deserve to win.

Can’t stand bland Jade. Matthew a.k.a. Father Dougall makes me laugh.

Harriet did an interview recently saying she gave up being a barrister, and drinking alcohol because of her temper and blurting out stuff. She regrets her behaviour on the traitors.

My highlight/cringe moment of the whole series was Roxy saying how likable she is. And the silence that followed…

Oh yeah what the hell was that CIA crap about? Why has no one questioned it or mentioned how ridiculous it sounds?! Why did Stephen not question her on it?

SpringBulbsPop · 19/01/2026 08:03

CrackSpackle · 19/01/2026 04:40

I gotta go with Stephen of the Star Trek Enterprise, just for the outfit alone. Normally, I am team faithful.

That outfit was hillarious 🤣👏
It left little to the imagination.

BIossomtoes · 19/01/2026 08:11

It’s not CIA, it’s FBI and it’s utter bollocks. It’s unbelievable that they’re all swallowing it. This is the first series that I’ve wanted the traitors to win, they’re running rings round the others.

Iamanunsafebuilding · 19/01/2026 08:27

I’m generally team faithful but I do think a fundamental problem with the show is that the good faithfuls are either murdered or banished. If they’re clever and switched on they are either suspected of being a traitor and banished or recognised as a threat and murdered!

I don’t like it when the traitors are smug and cocky but I think Rachel and Stephen are being strategic, are prepared to take risks and recognise that they have got lucky a few times. Ultimately I don’t really mind who wins this series

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 19/01/2026 08:30

Totally depends on personality for me.

I was definitely rooting for the faithfuls on celebrity traitors because I absolutely love both Nick and Celia.

The current series... I'm on the fence. I don't warm to Rachel but I love Stephen, and I like a lot of the faithfuls as well. (Don't like others!!) So I'll decide who I'm rooting for when we know who's in the final!

Odditea · 19/01/2026 03:38

Is anyone else wondering if Matt’s fiance is in fact Stephen?

I did because Stephen said in the beginning that he got engaged in Covid just like Matt said during the dinner party.

EleanorReally · 19/01/2026 08:35

yes i liked Minah
also Joe Marler

this time,
not sure, should be faithfuls as i feel traitors have been getting away with it and there is the fbi training bollocks

CharlotteRumpling · 19/01/2026 08:35

Always Traitors. They make for better TV. I find most of the Faithful usually wet or dim. This year even more so.

EleanorReally · 19/01/2026 08:39

there are a few who are just not getting the screen time, jack and Farazz
and also Jade
so i am hoping they pull through

GKG1 · 19/01/2026 08:41

I’m another who just roots for the people I like. Which is most of them this series! Really like Rachel and Stephen and how they seem genuinely loyal to one another. Although agree why is no one questioning Rachel after her CIA reveal, that a bit suss. I feel sorry for Jade, she’s young and feels vulnerable and it’s good she stood up for herself a bit.

I really disliked Fiona and Harriet after their big dramatic performances and felt they deserved to go on the basis of those - I’d love to know if they were put up to that by producers etc.

Dweetfidilove · 19/01/2026 08:41

Casparina · 18/01/2026 21:53

Depends! I rooted for Harriet this time as I know her. The remaining Faithfuls don’t deserve to win.

Has she said why she got so spectacularly angry at the roundtable? I think she'd have managed to convince them if she hadn't, and I was really rooting for her too until she lost it (and the table).

LydiaFunnyGums · 19/01/2026 08:42

SpringBulbsPop · 19/01/2026 07:20

Jade’s backstory had me in tears! She’s so young. Bless her 💛

Same, I hope we see Jade in the final.

Dweetfidilove · 19/01/2026 08:43

I was rooting for individuals too and now I just hope the Traitors win.

The 'short-term' memory of the faithfuls is just spectacular, and they seem to have zero wit and perception.
At this point, Rachel and Stephen could laugh in their faces at the roundtable and they'd still not suspect them.
They're the most hopeless bunch I've ever witnessed.
