To hope we win tomorrow (light hearted)

We've drawn Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and as season ticket holders we've been able to get tickets in a stadium that only holds 4,500 tops. We have a plastic pitch only 100x60m and we're not even in the national leagues, which are the top 5 layers. We're at level 7, I think, maybe 8. It's a televised match if anyone wants to watch some truly amazing (not necessarily in a good way🤣) football.

Is it too much to hope that we might become giant killers?

An update on the Crystal Palace gate receipts generosity. The FA banned them from doing it! Apparently it's against the rules.

@Imdunfer that’s rubbish of them! As a Palace fan that was the only solace I took from the match 😂. Fingers crossed for you to go all the way!

I think Clubs have gotten round that in the past by "donating" an amount to the sum of the gate receipts.

Flicking between Cov and Middlesbrough (sorry Boro that goal means nowt after the penalty) gutted for Macclesfield was hopping they would win

They were bloody brilliant,

Clean score sheet to 70 minutes, then an honest failure to deflect a ball that was on its way into the goal.

We damned nearly drew, and with a tiny bit of luck we could even have won, they had real trouble managing us.

Very proud of the lads tonight!

Did Macc proud again! Can definitely hold their heads up high.
