I hold armed authorities who should be comprehensively trained for difficult and unpredictable situations to a far higher standard than the general public.

I’m tired of people trying to excuse the inexcusable by implying the responsibility for avoiding death was with the driver. In a highly stressful and almost certainly unprecedented situation that unfolded in seconds, I find it unreasonable to expect a perfectly coolheaded assessment of the options from someone not trained for it.

By defending his actions, you are condoning them, hence she deserved it... she didn't do this, did do that etc etc.

No, the footage doesn't show her reversing rapidly, she reversed a very small amount & slowly on ice (wheels spinning) she then turned the wheel away from the man standing in front but to one side and drove slowly forward, she was shot and then involuntarily accelerated forward.
Such was the extent of his "injuries" he managed to fire a further 2 shots into her as the car went past, then sauntered after the crash car, walked back after checking his handiwork, then asks another agent to call 911

As for the agitator argument - she was disruptive, she shouldn't have been there, she deserved it as a result - I have seen countless videos of priests arguing with ICE agents physically pushing them back from entering their churches and not cooperating with ICE. Do these Christian men of the cloth, who are also clearly agitators, deserve to be shot too?

Not that it matters in any case. Even if it turns out that she was a regular protester, that wouldn't have been a reason to execute her in the street. And the self defence argument simply isn't backed up by the evidence.

Agree. He was making wild and aggressive statements within minutes of it happening, without knowing the facts. Someone of his standing should surely know to be diplomatic and careful of what statement he puts out there until the facts are confirmed. He clearly had his own agenda.
