It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

This is just not true I am afraid. She did hit him while trying to drive away. The agent clearly shouldn't have escalated so quickly, but she did hit him. The footage is available on X, as well as other places, from the angle of the trees.

I don't understand people taking such hysterical black and white positions. Two wrongs can happen. Things can get out of control when people have guns. People can do foolish things.

On January 6th, when insurrectionists stormed the Capitol, in what many would characterise as an attempted coup, one insurrectionist was shot by police. ONE. Officers and agents of the government should be responsible, restrained and professional.

Renee wasn’t even the subject of their deportation. She was just protesting. As is protected by the Constitution. Which Trump claims to love but actually only applies to certain people. She wasn’t restricting essential services, she was protesting. That’s protected. ICE made it a violent and ultimately fatal encounter.

The video where it looks like he's hit is from a distance. Other videos are closer and from the other side. These suggest that he slipped on the ice.

Seriously look at the video and you can clearly see there is an officer stood in front of the vehicle before. Why are you denying this?

I agree that whether shooting was a reasonable response is questionable as well as why didn't he just step out of the way. But why deny there was an officer stood in front of the vehicle when there clearly is?

A police officer would be wearing a uniform, identify themselves, follow the law and not walk in front of a car.

ICE want to be masked, not uniformed, not show ID, and he walked in front of a car.

If you are masked, without ID, you should not expect people to follow your instructions.
