ICE agent shoots woman in the face.

1000 replies

Eyesopenwideawake · 07/01/2026 21:18

It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

Because it’s why she was shot?

She tried to move away and was shot for it. Exactly why she was trying to get away from the scene isn’t really relevant. There was zero reason to shoot her.

I watched the reporting on GB News last night. Aside from the heavy editing the presenter, repeatedly emphasised the victim's surname. She even did air quotes around the Good name.

It was absolutely disgusting.😡

Here's the GB News ticker. It describes Renee Nicole Good as a "violent rioter".

Yuck!

EasternStandard · 08/01/2026 13:25

Mangelwurzelfortea · 08/01/2026 13:23

Ironic that Renee Good didn't get to go to trial for whatever 'crime' ICE thought she was committing, instead of just being summarily executed.

Well yes that’s why the person who acted needs to face a trial by court. It doesn’t negate that, it doesn’t make SM a better place to conduct it.

YourBrickTiger · 08/01/2026 13:25

VapeFree26 · 08/01/2026 13:14

Yes, she did. He didn't jump into the path of an already moving vehicle. The car moved towards him and made contact with him...after she'd been told to get out.

I do feel very sorry for her. The USA is a mental place in general with all these guns. But tbh, with all you see in the media you'd have to be fucking bonkers to not immediately comply with an instruction from gun carrying officers. Absolutely crazy to ignore when they're shouting at you to get out of the car.

It does not mean you shoot someone dead. I don't think half these people are even trained properly. Why shoot the windows? Shoot the tyres if needs be.

I can't even watch the news now. I can't listen to the Orange Turd and that blonde bimbo who works for him justify any more of this. I have witnessed, in my own country, terrorists being given better treatment than she was.

Well yes, but they won't face a trial by court - and if for some reason they do (they won't), then Trump will just pardon them anyway. It's all very well to go down the 'two wrongs don't make a right' route but it does look a bit like wanting people whose views you don't agree with to shut up.

NDerbys32 · 08/01/2026 12:28

It isn't provocative at all. That is nonsense.

What we've seen, and then heard from the President (who wasn't there, has no place in pre judging anything that could be prosecuted and should keep out of it) and others is nothing less than state excused homicide.

Completely disagree.

It’s irresponsible to act in a way which could result in you losing your life - that’s bloody common sense.

DeftGoldHedgehog · 08/01/2026 12:53

A few months ago I posted about Trump being a dictator and a fascist. Numerous posters shouted me down. I wonder if anyone is starting to change their views. The real test will be in 2029 - will he hold a full and fair democratic election and will he leave office if voted out?

The real test will be whether or not the midterms are cancelled or free and fair - and that's in a few short months.

VapeFree26 · 08/01/2026 13:27

W0tnow · 08/01/2026 13:18

In no world did she drive the car at him.

You can argue until you’re blue in the face of the stupidity of non compliance. That’s not relevant.

She did not use that vehicle as a weapon. I suggest you real @walllaw ’s cut and paste on the previous page.

Edited

A matter of opinion. Mine differs to yours. It's clearly ambiguous footage given there are many different opinions on it.

It will come out in whatever review happens in due course. I imagine the ICE agent will be made to quietly retire due to the publicity. I think anyone hoping for more than that are deulsional. Proving the ICE agent acted criminally when he did exactly what US law enforcement are told to do? Nah.

Well maybe when the time comes whoever the next President is will pardon whoever finally rids us of Spinchter Mouth.

Of course it’s relevant if you’re told to get out of your vehicle by armed officers. Why is everyone dismissing that?

I don't want to derail this thread but the Overton window has moved to the right, not the left. Centrists now look left-leaning rather than conservative. Former conservatives who were once considered pretty right wing - Theresa May etc - now look centrist. I say this as a centrist myself.

I disagree.

Look at the things which are ‘right wing’ now:

Not wanting a massive housing estate built at the end of your road
The Union Jack
Wanting any kind of immigration control at all
Not having a belief in unlimited spending on welfare and health
Having any kind of affection whatsoever toward British Culture (they’ll head tilt and ask ‘what that even is’, despite being able to describe cultures from any other country)

I digress

So it's irresponsible to panic when faced with unprovoked threatening behaviour from armed people who could be anyone (didn't see any uniforms or badges on those ICE personel or their cars), and if you do, then it's your own fault if you're shot in the head? Good to know.

Teddleshon1 · 08/01/2026 13:29

How did she hit him if she wasn’t driving at him?

Given what is coming out of the US government at the moment, it seems like a trial might not ever happen. It might be down to the family to bring some sort of private prosecution. I hope they set up a crowd funder. The money would absolutely flood in.

Got there first.
Decided it was absolutely shit so went to war over it.
Millions died in death camps because they didn't align with ruling party values and aesthetics .
MILLIONS died fighting in the war itself.
UN was established and a charter was written to ensure fascist behaviour didn't reoccur.

Hence Europeans being a bit twitchy about this burst of fascist behaviour in our allies.

Exactly.

The fact that a Yale history professor who is an expert in fascism got out of the country ASAP should have been warning enough.

No comment away, as you want. I don’t think anyone has the full facts and can be fully confident in their declaration and possibly could undermine a trial.

People seem certain, and can express it and I’ll think why so certain you’re not in a court with evidence. But go ahead.

DrBlackbird · 08/01/2026 13:29

How many times before had she had interactions with them? The full picture needs to come out before anyone can make to their mind. Like I said, it’s like the airport attack that completely changed once the full story came out.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing justifies that ICE agent from shooting a middle aged women dead in the head when she is not pointing a gun at him.

Nothing else matters. If someone is driving at you - from a standstill - you step out of the way. You do not shoot someone dead because they’ve blocked the road or yelled at you or refused to do as you’re told. Even by a federal agent.Unless you live in North Korea. As an American citizen, you are (meant to be) constitutionally protected against abuse of power.

Because officers are not allowed to use lethal force to stop people fleeing.

Because no one deserves to die for trying to keep themselves safe from these thugs.

Right to choose to end a pregnancy for one?

Technically they're still conservatives. With a small c.
