ICE agent shoots woman in the face.

Eyesopenwideawake · 07/01/2026 21:18

It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

Did trump support derek chauvin, does anyone know?

as you can tell, I’m really pissed off, this is the fucking evil that trump brings

walllaw · 07/01/2026 23:40

And by the way, the Biden administration was rolling out body cameras for federal law enforcement. The Trump administration issued an executive order revoking it.

Body cameras protect everyone in these situations.

Raspberrymoon49 · 07/01/2026 23:41

Am pretty sure Trump defended Chauvin

Blueskiesnotgrey · 07/01/2026 23:41

She instigated the situation and should have stopped and got out of the car when they told her to. He escalated the situation too quickly and could have just jumped out of the way and followed her in a car. I don't think she was trying to ram him, but I can see how in the heat of the moment he might have perceived it that way, especially if it is true that they had been harassing and impeding the agents for some time. Both things can be true. Both equally at fault imo. Foolish way to act when trigger happy people have guns at the ready.

ICE seems to attract the worst of the worst. Agents have been spotted with Nazi tattoos. It appeals to them because they feel powerful.

Ive said before I wonder how many of those Proud boys that were pardoned got jobs in the ICE dept.

Raspberrymoon49 · 07/01/2026 23:42

This was always going to happen in Trump’s USA

There is new footage online which clearly shows now that she did actually hit him as she was stunning the wheel. Seems to me like more inadvertently as she was trying to drive away but she did hit him a glancing blow.

In fairness, I don’t think he did.

Other republicans (Majorie Taylor Green & Ben Shapiro come to mind) wanted Chauvin to be pardoned though.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 07/01/2026 23:33

No, she did not deliberately drive into him - she drove her vehicle AWAY from the ice agent, who decided to run in front of her and pull out a gun and shoot her!! He was not in fucking danger

she was a woman who hates the idea of her neighbour being deported. Protests against deportations happen worldwide, she was protesting and was shot in the face by a fucking psycho. Who is now being supported by people of low moral fibre.

Edited

This is simply not true. The video is very clear- one officer was stood in front of the vehicle before it moved towards him, in no way did he run in front of the vehicle. Why would you suggest this?

Now whether shooting her was a reasonable response is a very different question as well as why didn't he just step out of the way. But the officer most definitely did not run in front of the moving vehicle as you falsely suggest.

Don't be ridiculous.

He murdered her.

It was not clearly angled away from him until after he was hit. The front wheels turn right after he was hit.

She was obstructing active law enforcement officers and was attempting to resist arrest. In order to do so she hit one of those officers. I genuinely think her death is a tragedy. But she hit an arresting officer with her car rather than obey the order to exit the vehicle.

She committed at least three crimes, one of which was vehicular assault. It is awful that she died, but not surprising given her actions.

In no account is this the case. She was CLEARLY departing and not threatening the officers with the car. THEY created this situation. It’s clear to most people that this woman was not threatening these officers . She wanted to leave. Period.

Duterte was a fan of extrajudicial killings, Trump has expressed admiration for Duterte. I hope Trump meets a fate similar to that of Duterte.

No, I am. I'm genuinely sorry for you. Not melodramatic, just basically human. Sorry it's not something you can recognise and sorry it makes you so angry.

You're not pointing out facts. You're repeating a false narrative but I guess you've managed to convince yourself of its truth.

That is a fair summary.

I mean there have been some ridiculous and false suggestions that the officer ran in front of the vehicle once it started moving in order to shoot her.

Goldenbear · 07/01/2026 23:46

1dayatatime · 07/01/2026 23:20

Seriously have you even seen the video. The woman drove her car at the ICE officer- it's as clear as day.

Now whether shooting her was a reasonable use of force is a different question.

Seriously, just stop with your contrarian stances- for what?? Maybe challenge yourself to go beyond the threshold of entry level decency!

Those are YOUR facts only . Not any one else’s facts ! The officer who shot her had 0 trouble walking VERY quickly away. That is very clear in the video I saw. Do give us your sourced video please.

He most definitely did. He circled her vehicle. Two other agents approached her, waving guns and trying to open her car, at which point she attempted to flee (arguably in rightful fear for her life). She turned her car away from the officers and slowly started to drive. At the same time, the original officer (who was in front of her car but not close enough for her to hit) stepped closer to her car, drew his gun, and murdered her in a cold-blooded fit of rage.

I am disgusted by his actions, and by those who support him.

What I really want to say in response to people who in any way defend and try to justify our generations version of the natzi would get me banded of this site.

Maybe thats the most shocking part of all this is sheer number of people who will literally justify the absolute inexcusable.
