It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

My best friend for more than 50 years moved there and became a US citizen recently. She is totally pro trump, thinks ICE are brilliant. We both studied WW2 and the rise of Facism in the same class. The irony is she entered and stayed in the US illegally but because she is white Britsh she got away with it.

Am I watching a different video from everyone else? There is clearly a person standing in front of her car, which she drives towards -yes, her tires are turning to swerve him but in that moment he would have just seen a car accelerating towards him.

I’m no fan of ICE, but I certainly wouldn’t risk my life around armed officers like this woman did, and she’s now paid the ultimate price for a moment of impulsive thoughtlessness.

This, he was hospitalised. I'm more surprised that people are surprised she was shot when she rammed an armed agent with her car. She stops her vehicle and sticks to shouting slogans and no one dies.

There were two agents, one at her drivers window and one in front. Bullet went through the front windshield so unless it’s one of those magical JFK bullets …

@Fulmine there are videos which clearly show the officer in front of the car (who she ultimately hit) while she is accelerating. You can see the wheels spinning but because of the ice the car isn’t gaining traction. So all present would clearly have heard the engine revving.

Why on earth wouldn’t you just stop and turn your engine off in this scenario. There are countless horrible videos out there of officers being hit by cars after asking the driver to stop.

She was told to move by ICE, so she did.

No, we can see that he ran in front of the car as she was trying to drive away. He was at the side of the car and had time to shoot her and get out of the way, so he was never in the remotest danger.

You said her death was the consequence of her actions. So, you condone use of lethal force on peaceful unarmed protesters regardless of whether that use of force is proportionate or not. Simply parking in the way of ICE and refusing to exit the vehicle justifies death? You agree with armed agents (not police officers, important distinction here because the training and onboarding are very different) walking the streets of your country with unlimited rights to shoot dead anyone who stands in their way.

police officer who was clearly to the side of the car shot and killed her. For someone who was run over , ran into he sure as hell was able to leave very quickly without any problems. If any injuries show up they are probably self inflicted. Trump and Noem are vile and rehensible. Creating false narratives while no facts have been presented.

He moved in front of the vehicle but even to one side.... its now being shown on all the news outlets here, no one in the path of the car.

He was hit by her car, yes or no? She accelerated into him yes or no? She used her car as a weapon and he shot her.

This was not a drug bust, it was a legal protest.

The officer is seen to the side in front of her, having placed himself in that position. Why would you put yourself in front of a car that is clearly just trying to leave the scene, when you have no power to stop them from doing so? If you genuinely think the car is going to hit you, why would you not just get out of the way rather than stopping to get a gun out and shooting, which definitely won't stop the car moving?

It's quite obvious that if he was able to shoot through the front windscreen, then step aside and shoot through the driver's window, he hadn't been run over. Footage also shows him walking after the car after he'd killed the driver.

All these MAGAs repeating 'FAFO' and 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes'... I'm getting sick of those clichés. By your logic, the shooter himself was playing a stupid game by stepping in front of a vehicle in a highly volatile situation, while his colleague was threatening the driver by wrenching at her door. You know perfectly well that if the situation had been reversed, and a protester stepped in front of an ICE agent's car and shot through the windscreen, you'd 100% call the protester a murderer.
