It had to happen; in Minneapolis a woman in a car was shouting at the multiple ICE agents. One tried to open her car door, she started to drive away and was shot 2 (3? 4?) times in the head.

Trump is blaming her. Fucking hell.

She could have killed him. I think she maybe tried to dodge him at the end but how could he know? Is he supposed to risk injury or death because she doesn’t like what we voted for?

Why do protesters think they can just do whatever? Just glue your hands to the road, just block the roads, just harrass ICE agents at work.

There is no one standing in front of the vehicle, only to the side, look on the Fox 9 website, shows the shooting from several angles.

Can ICE order a US citizen out their car? Are they allowed to do that? I’ve no idea what sort of police powers they have? They’re an immigration officer not police. I ve tried googling and the only thing I’ve found is this

ICE staff aren't police officers though, when was the last time you saw a police officer covering their identity while protecting and serving? They even wear body cams so that their actions are recorded, and tend not to step in front of vehicles then shoot, can you really imagine this happening in the UK?

Law enforcement agencies can certainly shoot people who drive towards them with a car. Even you as a civilian can do that if someone is going to knock you down with a car.

Most of those human beings have been working very hard for many years doing jobs no other Americans wanted to do. What he is doing is “ disrupting “ which is all laid out in Project 2025. The ICE agent did not act in self defence - unless his training was beyond appalling, which raises other questions.
It’s been said many times on this thread that no armed officer shoots to kill a person in a moving vehicle - it is dangerous - the vehicle will likely move even faster as dead or injured control of said vehicle is lost and if your foot is on the gas it likely goes down. Self defence would have been jumping out the way.
If you believe she was impeding ICE and that’s a crime then the right thing to do is arrest - take the tyres out, get the car stopped safely - take the reg and follow up - pass to local traffic officers to stop her - just don’t shoot people in the face as they (apparently) drive towards you - however slowly.
Worrying for what some will hope UK’s immigration officers will do in the future. How ICE will behave now for those in the US.

No, that can only be a last resort, at least under UK law. You would need to be able to explain why you couldn't simply step out of the path of the car. In the case of this agent, of course, he would need to explain why he walked in front of a car that was leaving the area.

Honestly - I will go with it’s safer to jump out the way - certainly faster than drawing your gun, aiming, firing, killing but the car still moving towards you anyway whether the driver is dead or alive.

I agree but the video doesn't show that, the shots were fired when no one was in front of the car..... even moments earlier there was no one.

The shots were fired with all agents at the side of the car.
