Centreparcs not giving loo roll

I’m sorry but I think after the amount you spend on CP it is a complete piss take they don’t give you loo roll. Luckily I had pocket tissues but what on Earth?? That level of stinginess has really put me off ever returning

The expectation is if you can afford centre parces then you'll wipe with a bunch of fifties.

Baboutheocelot · 04/01/2026 15:19

Before Covid the cleaners came in every day and topped up the loo roll. They don’t do that now but they normally leave you with at least one in each toilet when you arrive.

pottylolly · 04/01/2026 15:13

I have a bowel problem & they’ve always made sure to include one loo roll there at the start of my stay. You just need to contact their customer service team.

Surely everybody needs loo roll.

pteromum · 04/01/2026 15:22

I’m just back.

six in main bathroom, AND a full packet of nine in poo bathroom.

so, I suspect, cleaner arrived, got distracted by a squirrel, ran to stop it entering lodge, door slammed shut, loo roll was left with me and you were forgotten.

This is the fourth thread about loo roll I've seen on here today. What is going on? 🤣

Poo troll? There used to be a prolific one a few years back.

Do you get a special poo bathroom at centre parks?

Switcher · 04/01/2026 15:27

The comedy prices are why we don't go any more. I can afford it but I'm not a cash cow for their private equity owners to keep milking in exchange for making no new investments in the amenities. I expect a lot more than that crap for that kind of money.

pteromum · 04/01/2026 15:29

@Mumsntfan1yes. You must poo in the small bathroom in the porch and never in the one next to the kitchen

Okay I must live in a parallel universe cause dh is a pilot so we got to the continent a lot. Never stayed anywhere that didn’t supply loo roll.

Yes, I never heard of this. Travel a lot to continental Europe, born in another country. Starting you off with a loo roll in the toilet is basics of the basics.

NewYearSameYou · 04/01/2026 15:35

What gets me is how wasteful centre parks is by default: everything that gets left, gets binned.

Youcancallmeirrelevant · 04/01/2026 15:36

It is standard at Longleat center parks at least that you get 1 loo roll.per bathroom. I would assume it has been forgotten about and go to customer services to pick up some.

MellowNewt · 04/01/2026 15:11

Interesting we had absolutely nothing and neither did our friends.

There's always been one roll in each toilet when we've stayed at Center Parcs

What do you mean "everything that gets left gets binned". Surely people just take their belongings home with them, what do you suppose "gets left"?

JLou08 · 04/01/2026 15:38

They seem to just keep cutting costs whilst raising prices. I usually go every year but I've nothing booked this year because every time I go it seems a little worse than the last time.

I did wonder. Poo troll was so annoying.

There's this one, one about loo roll versus wet wipes, one about guests using too much, and one about running out while on holiday.

Facecream24 · 04/01/2026 15:40

I got back less than a week ago and had loo rolls in all 3 toilets and a spare in a couple of them too so they do definitely give it.

Makemeanonymous · 04/01/2026 15:41

Yesterday I was actually looking at accommodation in my own area - because of a thread posted on MN I was being nosey.
Most of it was self catering and I saw some of them actually stated Toilet Rolls amongst the things that were included in items supplied. I found this quite amusing because I'd assumed toilet rolls would be supplied as standard . And lo and behold this thread pops up today and yet again I feel totally out of touch with what is normal these days.

I'm old enough to remember that when I was a child and we stayed in B and Bs for our holidays we had to take our own towels because the land ladies didn't supply them. We were a family of 5 travelling by train and the amount of space taken up in our suitcases with towels for a fortnight was a serious inconvenience.

MyCatStoleSausages · 04/01/2026 15:47

One of my childhood memories is being with my grandparents when they were packing to bring us to centreparcs. My grandmother asked my grandfather to stick some loo roll in the bag and my grandfather said no, we would be fine without it. My grandmother snarked back at him 'What are you going to use instead Dennis, your finger?'

I was far too young to take any notice of whether or not loo roll was actually provided but that exchange has stuck in my memories 30 years later for some bizarre reason.

What? I saw 3 threads, I thought there were too many 🤣

haveaword · 04/01/2026 15:55

We were regular visitors to CP.

Kids got older so it had less appeal but ok did a short break and not main holiday - but omg the last time we stayed just noticed how tired the accommodation was and yes not enough toilet roll.

Kibble19 · 04/01/2026 15:56

Been to Whinfell multiple times and never had this issue. Always one on the holder and a spare in each bathroom. Towels all fine too.

MellowNewt · 04/01/2026 15:57

I guess we were missed. But friends staying in a different lodge were also without

OP posts:
Notmyreality · 04/01/2026 15:57

Always had at least one roll provided at CP whenever we’ve been. After it’s gone you provide your own.

Kibble19 · 04/01/2026 15:58

One thing that does annoy me about CP is that you can’t use the parking spaces, even if your lodge is assigned one and you have a Blue Badge. It’s a bit much, as people aren’t driving around the site; just using it to load and unload their stuff at the start and end of their break.

Seawolves · 04/01/2026 16:02

Did you contact Guest Services about it?
