They’ve tainted their own wedding by not honouring and cherishing his mum. So badly advised by ? Idk.

Holly looked beautiful in her cape. It's never seen a tablecloth. If she wants to cover up her dress for whatever reason, that is her choice and should be respected.

Tana looked beautiful. Really elegant and I'd love to have her figure.

That would be the mother who facilitated his swimming training by getting up every morning at 4am to drive him, then waited two hours to drive him home. The mother who looked after his young son when he was having his stag do. No wonder she was devastated.

I cringed when I read the text the auntie sent yesterday. Not only has she sent it on his wedding day but has leaked it to the press. Both of which will only have been done with the blessing of his mum.

I get his mum is desperate but does she really think such acts are going to tug on his heartstrings and make him sort things out.? Far more likely that it strengthens his resolve that his mum is controlling/interfering/toxic/ or whatever he’s decided the issue is.

He is a three time Olympic gold medal winner, with lots of world records, who is considered by some as the best breast stroke swimmer in the history of the sport.

Famous in his own right rather than as someone’s daughter.

If it was necessary either because of the cold weather or some secrecy clause to keep her dress covered up then surely she could have chosen something a bit more attractive to cover it up with? She looks like some large item of furniture gliding along on castors that the painter-decorator threw a giant dust sheet over.

I have high hopes for whatever is underneath though.

Drama is the bread and butter of these people. Imagine being this boys poor mother! Grim.

But did that mean she can go running to the daily mail selling her sob stories. I am not surprised they cut her out she can't be trusted to not sell stories to the press. In that kind of famous family and with how famous their friends are that's got to be a huge no. His mum has even put a flag up "in distress" outside her home on the wedding day. She knew she'd have photographers who would see it. I don't know what went on to cause the spat, none of us do, but her actions since have been diabolical.

He looks like he has done a long session on the strictly dance floor, all sweaty and disheveled.

I agree with PP who’ve suggested a Denver cape with arm slits would have been more attractive. The hood of the cape did have pretty embroidery though - maybe she should have had it up, framing her face in a ‘Snow Queen’ look and then it would have looked less like a satin bedsheet.

The bridesmaids would have been more flattered by dresses with a boat or scooped or v neck. High crew necks don’t suit larger busts.

So was the argument supposedly started by the fact that his mum wasn't invited to Holly's hen do?

Just because her parents are rich doesn't mean they should turn down good money when it's offered.

From a style point of view, the VB designs were quite typical - shiny, clingy fabric. VB herself, Harper Beckham, Tana Ramsay, the bridesmaids, all in that kind of fabric. I don't think, personally, that suits many women. However, their choice.
I'd be interested to see Holly's dress, it looked very pretty.

@LeticiaMorales yes, I suppose the ‘downside’ of having a famous designer do your bridesmaids dresses is that you may have to go with her vision rather than your own. Though presumably Holly loved the look.

He's probably had hair implants. Loads of celeb men seem to have magical never receding hair.

I’m puzzled as to why they chose Bath Abbey. You can’t drive up to the entrance for a start and Bath is always busy, full of tourists. They could have married somewhere more discreet but seems they like the attention. What a circus.
