How sad that the thing she will most remember about her wedding is the rugby scrum pushing her out the door with her wearing a tablecloth just to gain a few extra ££££

The high necklines on the bridesmaids dresses were an interesting choice…. I thought the make up artist had gone a little heavy on the bride but maybe that’s just current fashion that I’ve not caught up on yet! If they wanted a religious ceremony why didn’t they hire out a country estate venue with its own church if they wanted privacy…. Simple answer is they didn’t really!

I don't know who this woman is and I don't care. Why is her wedding in the public sphere?

It is quite sad I think and not thought out that well i assume there will be perfect posed photos and "romantic music" tik toks posted, but it looked an absolute shambles.

I don’t really get the hen do thing - I’d say it’s quite normal not to invite your future MIL, but I guess that the waters are a bit muddied if you make part of it a posh afternoon tea or drinks party or whatever with lots of women who are the same age as her maybe?

It was a silly place to choose to get married if one want privacy and secrecy. Bath Abbey is right in the middle of the city centre with no grounds at all, just busy public areas right up to each wall.

She was good enough as a grandmother when it suited. I know families fall out, but to then invite his dad to the ceremony, but not to the reception also seems ill thought out.

I bet his mum never thought that after being so successful, her DS would cut her out of his life. I wonder if she’ll ever know why.

My take on the fallout is that holly hasn’t clicked with his family (sounds like the ex gets on well with them) and so probably hasn’t made much effort with them. He’s been a crappy son and not tried to involve them either.

his mum has done the worst thing and allowed this into the press which would be pretty hard to forgive. But I also imagine she had a journo on the doorstep offering a shoulder to cry on and her sister whipping things up

Because she is an "influencer" who is marrying a famous sportsman and she is Gordon Ramseys daughter, it is like when Brooklyn Beckham got married and the wedding was everywhere,

What sort of influencing does she do? Just general ‘here’s what I made for lunch’ or is she an influencer with a specific focus?

Holly looked fine but what were they thinking with the bridesmaids! Straight out of Handmaids Tale and funeral lilies carried in that awfully affected way.
