MaybeNotNo · 27/12/2025 21:53

I couldn't care less about the influencer and "model" Holly Peaty

Holly Peaty sounds like the name of an obscure counry village

is your DS actually commenting on being happy he’s not in Bath town centre today as it’s so busy? Is he my Great Aunt Deirdre? I simply can’t imagine my uni age kids spending even a moments thought on this.

He had no idea it was going on but I mentioned it to him.
And yes he said he's glad he's not there. Just like he didn't enjoy the Xmas markets cos it was so busy in town.
What a strange mind you have to think he wouldn't comment on it, we do have conversations about general stuff, maybe you don't but hey ho

Give @alexisccd a huge congratulatory slap on the back for being unable to 'simply imagine' her uni age kids spending a moment's thought on something about the town they are living in.... What an incredible accomplishment for her and them 🙄.

Some people on here are right weird, I often think I'm living in a parallel universe. I then realise it's them, not me

It's odd - it all looks a bit cheap.

Roobarbtwo · 27/12/2025 23:38

He looks like a greasy hot mess in the photos and she looks plain. Just shows that money can't buy class

BettysRoasties · 28/12/2025 00:06

So according to the latest article all the bridesmaids and mother of the bride wore VB dresses.

and ding ding the aunty text peaty just before he arrived just to add some more drama to the day.

“'I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
'Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.'”

I mean they just seem to love the drama which another member of the family also speaking to the press.

Though maybe it will all calm down now the weddings happened.

also talk of some of it being on Netflix.

nope, that's due to how she got out through car. daddy should have ulled it over the dress as she got out of she didn't want a reveal.

I feel sorry for the bridesmaids in those frocks tho

HelenaWilson · 28/12/2025 00:44

I rarely see an adult bridesmaid in a frock I would ever actually want to wear.

thequeenoftarts · 28/12/2025 01:51

She looks ridiculous, shame to look like that on her wedding day. But hey does anyone care lol

Oh ffs.🤦‍♀️

InterIgnis · 27/12/2025 15:23

Not without good reason, based just on her propensity to take her family drama to the tabloids.

I don't know who these people are (except Gordon Ramsay), but I just read the groom's mother had planned to go to the wedding despite not being invited and that his brother was arrested for sending him threatening messages. It sounds like he is better off without them.

Agree. It's a pretty common idea that bridesmaid's dresses are awful.

Dartmoorcheffy · 27/12/2025 15:23

Bath Abbey is right in the middle of the shops. To be honest I don't understand why they couldn't have hired a huge country house with a marriage licence and done all this in privacy. All this just screams pretentious attention seekers.

The wanted a religious ceremony

Owl55 · 28/12/2025 05:35

They wanted their wedding there but probably didn’t expect the huge crowds, they had plenty of security who were rubbish at clearing a safe space for her and their guests as it looked chaotic . I felt rather sorry for her but she looked beautiful . The media have done everything to stir up trouble because his family wasn’t invited but there was probably more that we don’t know about ? Maybe the mums sister crying to the press didn’t help matters ?

XWKD · 28/12/2025 05:35

She and her dress don't matter.

HelpMeGetThrough · 28/12/2025 05:42

Why is she covered in a tablecloth? Isn’t it obvious?

Fathers got a cupboard full in his restaurants.

EleanorReally · 28/12/2025 05:48

it was even on the bbc news
just why!

Owl55 · 28/12/2025 05:49
