I’m proud of my Yorkshire puddings. They were huge, light, and fluffy. And my gravy was brilliant too. I am tres modest, I know! ;)

What’s the yummy leek dish?

KimuraTan · 25/12/2025 20:36

Duck and some bits. Random broccoli which my kids put on the plate.

Plates absolutely overflowing with food you could eat any day of the week. I don't think any of it looks enticing at all.

These look amazing- I can almost sense tucking into them. You did Yorkshires proud!!

Grumpynan · 25/12/2025 20:39

Didn’t take one of my plate, but this was the view from my place setting

Show us yours then? I think this is a fab thread - showing lots of home made foods. Can we not be negative about perfectly nice plates? Aren’t we all so lucky to have amazing dinners!

Aren't you a happy Harry.
I've been on mounjaro for a year and lost half my body weight. I won't be wasting all that hard work by binging on massive amounts of food for the next 4 days.

Nah, I couldn’t eat any of this the rest of the year. I’m on WLI and took a week off!

To gain a pound of fat you’d need to eat 3500 calories above your maintenance. You can have some fun!

It's Christmas.

A time of feasting...

People aren't going to have half a leaf of lettuce and a cherry tomato.

My veggie nut roast and mum's beef, with full accompaniments.

I love how your broccoli is super green and looks crunchy 😊

MidnightMusing5 · 25/12/2025 20:51

I don’t celebrate Christmas but we do usually have a roast dinner (turkey) couldn’t afford it this year so just roast chicken , roast potatoes, parsnip crisps and some steamed veg.

Veggie here too. Nut roast, veggie pigs in blankets, sprouts with chestnuts and fake bacon, carrots, roasted parsnips, green beans, red cabbage wedge cooked in apple, cider vinegar and cinnamon, homemade stuffing balls, onion gravy, potato dauphinoise and the roasties were perfect.
