My workplace has a vending machine. I bought a £2 drink this morning from it but the metal thingy turned around but didnt release the item so it got stuck.

I went to get more change to buy the one behind it/above it to try to release it, but the original one that was stuck was gone...

Im pissed off about this.

What do you make of this?

Do you think im being unreasonable?

Do you have any suspects? Any promising leads?

Print off a pic of missing item and make missing posters

Someone's had fun playing 'Is the Twix or the Mars Bar in the better position to knock down the stuck item below?' I'm surprised no one's started a TV game show on this premise.

What do you want to do? Bring in a forensic team to lift fingerprints? Office wide DNA testing?

On one occasion I went to open a can of drink and the pull snapped off. It was actually in my hand and I couldn't drink it.
Also, last week my colleague made me a coffee and put milk on it. I'm vegan so I couldn't drink that either.
It was the final straw frankly. And I vowed there and then to guard against future drink related mishaps by sticking to water.

I can`t disagree they would be my first call.

A friend told me that one of her niece's colleague's bridesmaids once got a Twix that was actually just a Twick. There was only one in there.

Since then I always feel for two Twix before I make a purchase and that's why I never buy them from vending machines. I mean, you never know. It just doesn't bear thinking about.
