Talk to me about Tattle Life

Ive heard people talking about it on here before but didn’t really know what it was other than a forum. I’ve recently stumbled across a thread on there about an ‘influencer’ I’ve followed for years who has become progressively more annoying and false. Some of the comments on this tattle thread are needlessly unkind but others echo exactly what I’ve been thinking about her. Albeit I’m not sure id ever put those thoughts out there where they could hurt someone.

So is Tattle basically just a space for being nasty about people? Please excuse the naivety but other than MN, instagram and Facebook I’m not really a big social media user.

A quick search on here tells me there was a big reveal recently of the owner of the site, as if he was in trouble or something. So is it a site that’s looked down on?

OP posts:

'A space for being nasty?'

Really OP???

Its a disgusting site and people who use it need to grow up

I don’t follow ‘influencers’ as it’s all smoke screen and mirrors with them a lot of the time. There’s one ‘influencer’ who lives near us. I’m going to name change after this post due to what I’m about to say. She made her ‘fame’ on TikTok initially posting videos of her packing packed lunches for her son who has SEN. The “you're jealous” rubbish is trotted out repeatedly and to be frank, the woman I’m talking about is vile. If you knew her in RL like many of us do everyone would avoid her. She’s told so many lies it’s laughable, Sitting on planes pretending she’s been left alone after falling asleep, using mourjano but proclaiming to having lost the weight through eating a healthy diet (after she posted a video of her fridge with a mourjano pen in it). Accusing her ex husband of domestic abuse…the list of this woman’s lies is laughable and her content is outrageous. The worst part is she continually posts about her sons disability with him having meltdowns when her views are low. I don’t care who the ‘influencer’ is but you don’t post your children’s most vulnerable moments on social media ans expect not to be judged by doing it. At one point she was suing Tattle (as well as many others). Let’s face it, only one couple has sued Tattle and it was yesterdays news and tomorrows fish and chip paper. It’s not a site I use but, come on, you only need to go on Reddit and it’s exactly the same.

NewGirlInTown · 25/11/2025 04:21

The Harry and Meghan thread is absolutely hilarious.

SoftPlayForDogs · 25/11/2025 05:52

I don’t post on there but I do read one thread about a family vlogging channel that I think is spot on. The father is a creep and has contacted young fans inappropriately, the mother has so many issues, they’ve isolated their children, the kids are supposed to be being home educated but all they do is shop and pose for the camera, they film their kids when they’re ill, they lie about money and con people. It’s disturbing and abusive and I think the tattle lot call them out for what they are.

I don’t read anything else on there though but I’m aware that it’s not the kindest place. 😬 Based on the thread I read though, I think there is probably a lot of truth on their and people just don’t like it. That’s not to say some stuff is untrue or just posted by trolls etc.

BeardofHagrid · 25/11/2025 07:47

The guy that runs it is insane so whatever you do, don’t try to make an account on there!

I think you need to give a bit more information on that one.

Bryantpark · 26/11/2025 12:05

The most recent episode of the Blocked and Reported podcast was about Tattle life. They also have a go at mumsnet, it's quite funny.

lolawasashitgirl · 26/11/2025 12:08

I had a snoop around the Radford stuff and came away feeling really grubby. I’m not a fan of the Radfords, but tattle posters being vile about the children was just awful.

Are they the couple that had their first son when the mother was 14?

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 26/11/2025 12:13

The thread taking the piss out of Mumsnet is hilarious.

hevs03 · 26/11/2025 12:57

I use/read Tattle most day's although I only click on certain threads, I have no issue with it and don't find it bitchy or horrible. Some of the threads are very supportive of other users, offering advice akin to here. I am aware that like with any social media platforms there are some very invested users who do go overboard with their views on Tattle, but overall, it is fine for me and it often makes me laugh out loud.

Pepperedpickles · 26/11/2025 13:01

It is absolutely vile. Basically bullying. I follow a lot of travel vlog type people and Disney vloggers and they are relentlessly ripped to shreds on Tattle, including one who obviously has autism. It really is horrendous. I completely get that you can’t always be everyone’s cup of tea but for christs sake just scroll past if you don’t like something, that’s the beauty of you tube or whatever. You don’t need to start pages and pages of posts about someone - I genuinely don’t know how these people live with themselves.

lolawasashitgirl · 26/11/2025 13:21

FantaOranged · 26/11/2025 12:09

She was actually 13. Her now husband was 19. They started at 15 kids and counting but then came sponsorship, Disney holidays etc. it’s all gross - they have used their children in an appalling way. They are the adults but tattle posters seem to think the kids are fair game to criticise. I think this really oversteps.

Doseofreality · 26/11/2025 13:24

I rather like Tattle any enjoy reading some of the threads on there. The Mumsnet one is hysterical!

Judeyoubigtwat · 26/11/2025 14:10

I used to be an influencer, back when tattle first started. I stopped it all in 2019, it was all so ridiculous and fake and I didn’t want it in my life anymore. It wasn’t worth it for the odd free box of cereal or an invite to the premier of a shit film.

I was spoken about on Tattle, mainly okay things though.

Look, all the other instagram idiots I knew were on tattle. Either slagging their fake friends off, or mentioning their own names in the hope
that they would be talked about to get more followers.

The thing is, if you don’t want to be talked about, good or bad, don’t make your life public. You don’t get to put your life on line and then get to police what other people say about you in public if you are putting it out there.

Yes, this is a crucial point - and that goes double for making your children's lives public. When you broadcast your children's lives to literally the world you are damaging them - no possible argument against that. And anyone normal who accidentally stumbles into doing so would immediately stop as soon as they saw that they'd made their children vulnerable to even the mildest negative comment, wouldn't they?

If they don't, they're sacrificing their child's mental health, self esteem, security etc to whatever they personally gain from exposing their children to the world (usually money in one form or another).

So many do it that it starts to look normal - but as soon as you step back you realise how very very abnormal and cruel it is.

DuchessDandelion · 26/11/2025 19:27

I see lots of people defending whats said on TattleLife (which has a hate thread for mumsnet too) - they claims they're just having a laugh and voicing opinions and it isn't bullying. But if a group of teenagers at school or college said the stuff that's written there daily they'd be rightfully labelled as bullies.

Websites like tattle give people the opportunity to be bullies and find safety in numbers.

I think we must follow the same family! 6 children (5 + 1 “adult”)
it’s outrageous what some of these influencers are doing to their children and tattle is the only place we can talk about it without it being deleted. The lies are kept and their inconsistencies are made public.
It makes me so mad that the children have no say in this at all, the isolation, the lack of education, and the gas lighting that this is their “best life”

mumofoneAloneandwell · 26/11/2025 19:31

Stacey Solomon? 😭

(I love her from a distance)

It's vicious and not my cup of tea at all. I think it's also often truthful though and I think was one of the first places where people openly spoke about seeing through through Jack Monroe.

The cheap meals lady? What did she do 😭

Some of it is funny but the prolonged nastiness about one poster in particular was really not nice to read

TangoWhiskeyAlphaTango1 · 26/11/2025 19:38

Netcurtainnelly · 24/11/2025 23:30

Its all about sad and horrible people with no life, bitching about others.

Just like on MN.

I go on there because of one 'influencer' only who exploits her children to the max. I wondered if it was just me until I found like minded people on Tattle. In fairness they are quite restrained but pretty spot on with what they say about this woman.

I see way worse things being said here on MN all the time.

Sugarfish · 26/11/2025 19:38

I enjoy a lot of the non influencer threads. The mumsnet and popsy ones are funny. The mumsnet one in particular is spot on! I also really like the Aldi and Lidl one. I had covid during the whole Hugh Edwards scandal and the speculation threads about that really kept me entertained!

BillieWiper · 26/11/2025 19:40

You're allowed and encouraged to be pretty nasty on there.

But not always and there's so many different threads and some people use it to talk honestly about their fandom or experience of meeting famous people or the scene that surrounded them. Like people who worked in the industry.

Who knows a lot of the stuff they say could be bollocks but it can be amusing. But I don't ever read about influencers as I don't know who any of them are.
