To ask for your tiny tragedies

Was looking forward to having some strawberries with some nice thick greek yoghurt I had in the fridge and it turns out I just bought boring natural yoghurt by mistake 😭

Yes, to be fair, it was good. But having to do all of this shit without getting to see a decent show is the downside. We’ve had 3 fights already and the bloke at the entrance just tried to intimidate me to say I couldn’t come back to the car. Dick!

I don't mind going to concerts as long as there's no warm up act, I can't be doing with all that standing around! We went to a gig last night & it said "8pm showing" on the ticket. Dd2 was desperate to get there as early as possible. We joined the end of the massive queue at 5.45pm thinking we'd only be queuing for 1 hour or so. We then realised the doors opened at 8pm & the show was at 9pm! Luckily no support act & we were in the car by about 10pm!

Chappel Roan. I don’t even know what a chappel roan is and so far this year I’ve done Robbie Williams, Oasis, AC/DC with her. I really don’t want to do another! I’m hoping I can see them in and come back out to sit in my car for some peace! The venue is one I’ve only been to once before and it’s a nightmare to get out of so will be scouting out where I can leave early and park, that my daughter can wheel to. I’m always her “plus 1” when she goes anywhere, I was looking forward to another parent taking a turn!

Got a really bad paper cut at work today on my thumb and now every time I bend my thumb or wash my hands or wash dishes it’s really nippy.

Took 2 years to finish painting the garden fence. Day after we finished someone took the corner too quickly and put a scrape along a section of it 😑

I burnt the bolognese sauce.
The ugg tasmans i ordered of vinted probably wont make it for my long haul flight. An I've no one to pick them up while I'm away.

I’ve been very carefully not plucking 3 chin hairs so I can get them electrolysed. Left them long all through my holiday (forgot razor) even though it made me feel crone like. Absentmindedly pulled them out on the journey home 🙄

Also, we have no chocolate.

i had one hair on my chin for years, I kept plucking it and it eventually died, hasn’t grown back in years…

I would love mine to do the same… unfortunately whenever they grow back from
plucking they ingrow slightly and I get spots there, which is why I decided to get them zapped… But maybe they won’t come back!

I bought an apple turnover from the Lidl bakery, so not expensive, thought I'd have it for breakfast next day.

Next day in a bit of a rush, thought I'd eat it over the kitchen sink so as not to drop pastry everywhere.

Took one bite promptly dropped it in the sink...unfortunately a dish from the night before was in it soaking...so no apple turnover for me.

I did stand looking at it for a minute, considering rescuing it....but nope.

We have lots of forks.

We have, somehow, lost 2 out of 4 of the nice ones. The proper weight ones with nice, rounded handles. Usual suspects all coming up clean. It's a mystery. And also a tiny tragedy.
