To ask for your tiny tragedies

Was looking forward to having some strawberries with some nice thick greek yoghurt I had in the fridge and it turns out I just bought boring natural yoghurt by mistake 😭

It didn’t rain for long enough earlier so my plants are still waiting for the proper downpour that’s forecast

This isn't a tiny tragedy at all, I forgot to take tea bags on holiday with me so I haven't had a cup of tea for almost a week 😭

Look on the positive side -
That first cup of tea at home will taste like nectar!

I'm really fussy about my tea, I don't enjoy it anywhere other than home (and some tea shops / restaurants) so never have a tea on holiday. I always look massively forward to my first one back home!

I went to Chester Zoo today and the Red Pandas were almost invisible at the top of their trees. Saw the corner of one ear. I love them so much .

Ive been dumped for a ridiculous reason after a 4 year relationship. Turns out I am happier without him! He text me today a week after dumping me to see if I wanted to meet up and I politely said no thanks and have now blocked him. It’s his birthday in October and I had something expensive planned. I can now spend the money on my son instead. So I am a bit sad as break ups are always sad but I am also relieved and happy.

I bought myself a can of drink yesterday- was really excited because it seemed to be the Belgian version of Lilt but with no artificial sweeteners (I really don't like them). It was still, like drinking a vaguely interesting squash, rather than the fizzy delight I was hoping for.

Did not take enough knickers on holiday.

I had to buy some recently when we were away as the period from hell arrived out of the blue and without being TMI it was horrific and I went through 5 pairs in just one morning 😭

I love dogs. I have one but there is another, quite uncommon, specific breed and colour that I would love. We aren’t getting another dog - wrong time, limited funds etc etc. But the exact breed and colour I want was advertised. And then someone clearly bought him because the advert has gone.
I wasn’t going to actually get him but I liked looking at his photo and playing “what if?”

I added kale to a dish as per the recipe, against my better judgement, and as predicted it did indeed ruin a dish which would have been infinitely better without kale.

Kale is bloody awful!! Whenever a recipe says kale, I'll always replace it with spinach! Far nicer!

My daughter made chocolate chip cookies today and I waited patiently for them to cool so I could have one with my cup of tea. She forgot to put the brown sugar in so they were not very sweet. I had to pretend it didn’t matter but it really did 😭

I put my 5 month old phone on top of my car as I strapped my baby in then forgot it and drove home. I came back to try and find it after I got home and realized it was gone. I found it face down in the busy road! Now I've got to wait till tomorrow for my cheap replacement (and try to claim the other one on insurance as it's got £759 oweing on it.

My husband brought me coffee in bed 0630 this morning. I had told him the night before that I didn't need to be up until 0700 and I was looking forward to a bit of a lie in.

I have pretty rubbish teeth anyway (combination of genetics and appalling bruxism)...

The chicken had a lovely crust on it. And it was enough to crack off a full corner of the tooth 😭😭😭
