Rip the flags down! A call for action!

The sudden appearance of the English flag hung on lamp posts, railings etc has absolutely sickened me, and my dd.
I am proud to be British, but the misappropriation of the flag by thugs, intending to intimidate, is absolutely not acceptable in a diverse society.
So tonight myself and my adult dd ripped them down in our area, and tomorrow we will be going on a flag hunt, to rip down any more we find.
I would strongly urge those of you that feel the same way, to also remove them, as long as you feel safe and comfortable to do it.

Whatever Labour, Tories or anyone else does, voting for a misogynistic, racist party is never the only (or even best) option. If reform gets in it will be purely on those who voted for it. You don’t get to blame anyone else and say they made you do it.

I genuinely dont understand the hatred towards the british flag by british people. I understand the feelings of racism it leads to but why are we not allowed to stand up for our culture and beliefs? I'm all for integration of people struggling into our society but when we have people who dont want to integrate with us are we supposed to accept that and let the fabric of our society change to fit their norms? I dont understand how females can be so ignorant of the societal norms these people will bring. We fought and still fight for womens rights yet the people you seek to protect will destroy that.

I have absolutely zero intention of voting for Reform. Absolutely hate them. But I hate the left for making them appear like a viable option.

Let people have their flags. The absolute worst thing that anyone can do is to rip them down. It plays into the hands of the far right. Would you go to Wales and remove a Welsh flag? I'm guessing not.
Why shouldn't an English person or British person be allowed to fly the flag?
I don't think I've ever worn a flag of any nation and I certainly won't be going along with this "campaign".

i understand there all kinds of men who'd rather I fitted a particular template and would prefer I didn't have the rights I have. Just look at Trump and the christian conservatives in the US. I grew up in and now live in a very white area of the UK, and can assure you that from the age of 12 (yes, I remember the first time), I've had men making comments and worse. I'm obviously not unusual. But to make out that this a problem visited on us by immigrants (because that's what you're saying isn't it?) is naive in the extreme.
My daughter had a stalker. He was white British. Fortunately the police took it seriously and 'had a word'. It's men. Full stop. Off all shapes and colours. Get real.

And as for my flag. I don't hate it. I love seeing it fluttering on special occasions. But I am sad it's been hijacked in this reductive way.

Reform told people we weren't allowed to fly them because of Muslims in the country, which was not true.
Reform got some politicians in power and said we will start flying the flags.

The biggest issue is human rights, women have fought for years to get a voice. Are we supposed to sit back and let that go? Who will fight for us when we allow men who think we are worth nothing to take over
