Incredibly boring programs - Starting with Ben Fogle

BF lives in the Wild must be the most boring program ever made. Every episode is the same:

“We left the rat race to live in a cow shed in the middle of nowhere. We live on rain water and mouldy vegetables but we’re so happy”

Next minute the socially isolated kids are shown studying butterflies or some shit.

I just can’t stomach it, normally I can sit and watch anything but this just irritates me beyond belief, I have to leave the room whilst DH watches it. The only other thing that comes close is Jools Holland.

Anyone else have such a strong dislike of a particular program?

I also hate The One Show.
Most quiz shows with shiny floors and flashy sets.
Soaps.

Any program where mediocre, uneducated members of the public have to puzzle things out. It's absolutely tortuous to watch.

Current top contender are those randoms on a bus trying to fathom where they are in Europe.

I wouldn’t watch that; I’m just holding out hope someone uploads all the episodes of Castaway 2000 for me to watch

Mine is radio. I often have R4 on in the background and the only programme that I will actively rush to switch off is Any Answers. Lots of bigoted middle Englanders being given airtime for views that are at best twee and pointless (what ever will happen when the wind isn’t blowing?! John from Southend thinks he’s the only person ever to have spotted that issue with wind power. It must be because hes a retired engineer) and at worst racist.
Actually Feedback I switch off too for the same reason.

Ooh I love Ben Fogle, all his programmes are good.

I can't stand Strictly Come Dancing, it's utterly tedious and smug. Plus the endless adverising for it in the run-up and weeks of discussing it on every chat show and even on the news.

The One Show is dire and I have no idea how it's gone on for 20 years. I don't know anyone who actually watches it.

Anything with Helen Skelton in. Can't stand her. All she ever drones on about is how much she has travelled. Who cares?! Many people have travelled. Big deal!

Property programmes with a couple with a £777,000 budget, but can up it to £900,000 for the right property. 🙄 Also LOATHE the property programmes where over privileged twats with too much money are on the hunt for houses to buy, to add to their 'portfolio.' C*nts.

Antiques Roadshow and Countryfile bore me to death and I m yet to see why dm and db love Songs of praise. It all depresses me but to be fair Sunday has always depressed me from childhood.

Definitely Love Island I m a Celebrity etc, don't watch them but lots of people at work do and go on about it.

Ben Fogle is just simply unbearable

I do like Ben Fogle. Might be sacrilege but I find David Attenborough really boring. And any kind of country file/springwatch shite about lambs.

I love Ben Fogle - he’s hot as fuck in his chambray shirts and cargo shorts. I love the way the women’s eyes light up when he rocks up as they’ve spent the last 7 years with just their withered husband on some tiny island in the Atlantic somewhere and then hot Ben comes along to stay for the week. Brilliant!

DS went through a phase of loving Q. I. and wanting to watch it every evening. Sure, there are funny bits but honestly, it really does go on. I grew to loathe it.
