I don’t understand all the initials used on mumsnet.

i guess DD is direct daughter?

then there’s so many others.

anyone care to help this clueless mumsnetter?

It’s MN-speak. I’ve been on Mumsnet since 2003 and these abbreviations have been used on here for at least that long. It’s part of the MN experience and honestly not hard to remember. BrewCake

A lot of the abbreviations pre date MN, they are general internet ones. Some are specific but DH, MIL etc are all over
