Costa coffee use instant coffee to make there iced coffee drinks

Can't speak about coffee but when our locale ice cream emporium let me try lavender ice cream it was like suck an old lady's soap, revolting!

For some reason all these poseurs seem to congregate inside Costa or Starbucks too, bringing their fashion accessory cups! It's crazy, I tell you!

My husband had some sort of frappe in Costa on Sunday. He also said at the time that they used instant in it!

When I worked at Costa the cream was just full fat milk poured into a whipping bottle thing which had a canister of some kind of air injection stuff. Definitely made from the same milk in the fridge that the coffee is made from.

Granted this was over a decade ago but I can't imagine they're now using squirty cream because that'd most likely cost more.

These stupid namby pamby drinks hold up the queue for everyone ordering a “normal” drink. They should be banned.

Those drinks cost more, so make more money. Plus, you could always go to a Costa machine in a supermarket or garage, and get your "normal" drink there.

A cost-of-living crisis that can be solved with £4 is not a cost-of-living crisis.

I went to Costa yesterday and ordered a brownie frappe with coffee for my husband and saw this too! I think they should use coffee shots for the price they charge but nope. Our one definitely uses their brand of instant coffee.

And their whipped cream is semi skimmed milk in a siphon.
(I was asked if I wanted whipped cream, and saw them change the gas pod and put semi skimmed in there.)

I thought it’d rather be lovely or disgusting. You have saved me trying it. I think the good thing about Costa is the app. I buy meal deals a lot ( work pays a lunch stipend) and a garage near me does free Costa ( with a bean) with every 30litres of fuel (work is paying) most weeks I get a free drink so try whatever is new. I was nervous about the purple though.

With a jam jar or oasis drink bottle

put in 5/6 teaspoon of coffee and warm water then shake Hell out of it with lid on, this makes it become frothy

add to iced glass then add in syrups or stir in spoon of condensed milk and milk of choice
