Remember being 14/15 or so onwards and just sooo much kissing, so much fancying of different boys, feeling excited if you’d see them that night and if you’d get to go with them 😂
I don’t think I’ve kissed like that since my mid twenties maybe…40’s now.

If you are this age and date again, do you kiss like this? I really have no idea

I still kiss my dh like that. I love kissing and luckily so does he 😀.
we dated in our 30s me and him his 40s so yes it is definitely still a thing!

That’s amazing…that you still have that connection

But kiss properly every day? In what situation

Na, once I found things that were better than kissing, there was no looking back for me!

isitmeamithedrama · 08/06/2025 20:53

DP and I are 51 and 42 and still “snog” a lot at least one proper smooch when we see each other which is every other day or whenever we’re together.

whynotmereally · 08/06/2025 20:53

I miss those first love lust feelings. When it was all consuming and passionate and romantic . I love dh In a much more significant way now but it different to those early days

Hgfvbd · 08/06/2025 21:20

PPs and @Boredeoboredbored back in your teenage years were you ever a lad's first snog? As in his first kiss was with you.

In the kitchen, on the sofa, in bed – whenever we want to really, as long as the kids aren’t there.

namechangeGOT · 08/06/2025 21:37

We kiss properly and passionately almost every day! He’s 48 and I’m 40! Been married 19 years! Why would it stop?!

Tagyoureit · 08/06/2025 21:40

God lord, I'm 45 and still kiss my DH, 54, like we're teenagers.
We've been together 8 years, married for 3, and we're still like silly teenagers, pats on the bum, silly flash of boob whenever I think I can get away with it, in the house, never out and about 🤣

Stinkbomb · 08/06/2025 21:41

Yep me and DH do very often - love kissing him, we are mid forties but admittedly we only got married 2 years ago

CaptainJason · 08/06/2025 21:43

I’ve not snogged my husband in years! Still head over heels for him, I’m just not a very tactile person (although I suppose with two under two, nobody is!)

Koazy · 08/06/2025 21:49

We still kiss with tongues every day. Been married 25 years.

Doitrightnow · 08/06/2025 22:08

No. All the kisses I had as a teenager were sloppy and gross, and the guys were usually idiots who made me feel crap afterwards.

Blobbitymacblob · 08/06/2025 22:19

I was a little bit sad for a while at the idea of never kissing another man again after getting together with dh, but I haven’t ever fancied anyone else since I met him so it was sort of academic really.

Love kissing him though. I’ve found that we kiss more passionately during those times that we’re going through a bit of a sex drought. Otherwise it’s just a peck on the lips.

Blondebrownorred · 08/06/2025 22:33

Me and DH snog loads. I'm in my 40s, he's late 50s. Been together over 10 years.

Picklechicken · 08/06/2025 22:35

Maybe once a week ….! Neither of us are really physical people. Happily married 16 years together etc. I’ve never really enjoyed snogging though, the whole tongues thing and invasion of personal space makes me feel a bit 😳 - but then both dh and I have autism, and feel the same, so I guess we’re similar so it’s fine!

Notmycircusnotmyotter · 08/06/2025 22:53

DP and I will kiss for hours still in our 30s (me) 40s (him)

Legolady2 · 08/06/2025 22:58

4 years together. 47 and 50. Snog every time we see each other. Still lie in bed talking all night like teenagers. Wow!

Dontlletmedownbruce · 08/06/2025 23:01

I'm so surprised (and impressed) at these comments! I didn't think people in LTR are still so affectionate.

MrBlobbyScaresMe · 08/06/2025 23:02

Gah I hate snogging, I even hate the word 🤢.
I know I'm in the minority here.

I really liked kissing. There’s something about someone kissing your neck with just the right amount of stubble. I think once there were more interesting things on the table blokes tend not to focus a lot on necks.

Unexpectedlysinglemum · 08/06/2025 23:05

I love this stage of dating and it actually puts me off sleeping with people as it always fades after the sex starts as it's seen a initiation of sex not just a lovely thing to do in itself
