Do you miss snogging males?

Remember being 14/15 or so onwards and just sooo much kissing, so much fancying of different boys, feeling excited if you’d see them that night and if you’d get to go with them 😂
I don’t think I’ve kissed like that since my mid twenties maybe…40’s now.

If you are this age and date again, do you kiss like this? I really have no idea

No but I think that most men seem to treat snogging like having sex.....keeping thrusting the tongue in as far as it will go. Its never really felt mutual, more "mouth sex". I hope I have just been really unlucky with crap kissers and that there are more good kissers out there than bad ones!

My most recent ex for example could be a good kisser but hardly ever bothered. In fact the best kiss I had from him was when he was trying to reel me back in after I dumped him. Enjoyed the kiss and then left anyway!

I agree with this, maybe thats what has put me off snogging.

Once you have had sex there is the unspoken assumption that snogging will always lead to sex. So if you dont want sex, you have to avoid the snogging too, which is a shame.

DH isn't a snogger sadly, but is very good at everything else so I can't complain! Do sometimes wish he'd just push me against the wall and french kiss me though!

DH was definitely more into snogging than me (before we met he says he casually snogged at least 200 girls before he stopped keeping count).

I generally only snogged guys I wanted to actually have sex with which wasn't many.

We do still snog quite a lot but DH is asexual (no sex, just kissing and spooning) so that's all I get! 😬 I'll take it!

Now you mention it, yes I do miss that feeling of a scratched up face from a lot of interacting with stubble 🤣 Teenage and early 20s snogging when it could go on for a long long time. Snogs like that few and far between these days and certainly not for long enough to cause a sore face - I think the urgency has gone although I do enjoy kissing DH.

I miss the giddy intoxicating feeling of lust with your belly doing flip flops just getting a whiff of their after shave or seeing a little peek of hair above their shirt buttons and imagining the sex ! Me and DH never snog, it'd feel false and silly now! I love him but in a deep, proper way. He's my family. The love we have now is stronger and made of something more precious. I'm grateful for it.

But yes, I do miss those flutters of pure animalistic urges. They were never designed to last though. It's a trick played on us to reproduce. It's very similar to being drugged.

When you get past all that and look at humans reproductive organs, both men and women's, they're absolutely bloody gross, why on earth would you be desperate to put mouths, hands, god knows what anywhere near them 😄. My own fanny grosses me out these days ! 😁

Don't miss doing it with anyone else but still happily with my DH who I've been with 25 years this year, since we were 15.

Remember kissing, or necking, for hours in a shop doorway aged 15 etc. I think it's what you're not doing that's exciting. The next, unknown phase, which is just an unclipped bra strap away, that holds so much possibility and thrill.

I miss the excitement of fancying boys as a teenager but I didn’t kiss a lad till I was 23 and never really made out…it makes me cringe a bit

I was just thinking about this today. DH was looking for a bit of a kiss & a cuddle, we haven’t been intimate in a long time…

I was remembering how exciting it used to be, when younger, kissing that boy you fancied. The intensity of the kissing sessions!

Just thinking about how some words, when you think about them are weird. Snog and snogging are one of those weird words.

Worst snog ever, dance floor somewhere in Liverpool circa 1998. Young lad who had kebab breath, and didn’t use his tongue, just opened and closed his mouth like a goldfish. Bleugh.

I snogged someone from work the other day and i’m late 40’s. That proper kind of passionate kiss you get in new relationships / when there’s a lot of sexual chemistry. I do love snogging.
