When was the change from Fondant Fancies to French Fancies?

Decaf and all red wine can get in the sea for me but you’re so wrong about pink French fancies and blackcurrant Jelly Babies. The blackcurrant ones are always the tastiest, see Fruit Pastilles for conclusive proof.

Think French Fancies is the brand name Mr Kipling uses and all other generic ones are Fondant Fancies. I could be wrong but I have done extensive research

All jelly babies are good jelly babies (unless Haribo). This is a scientific FACT. Blackcurrant jellies babies are the best, but I do accept this is currently (currantly?) unproven. I am, however, prepared to carry out extensive scientific research into this.
