Blackcurrant jelly babies are an abomination

Im not a jelly baby fan, but blackcurrant ones are best. Remember when Woolies used to sell bags of just Blackcurrant fruit pastilles? My mum used to stockpile them as she thought they were a temporary thing.Order of fps worst to best-red, orange,black, yellow and green. They were also the best fruit gum.
And the Christmas white French Fancies are the bestest, then pink, then brown, yellow last.
Decaff coffee is of course, an abomination.

My favourite Jelly baby. Prefer purple and red skittles. My favourite colour though is green but i rarely like the taste of anything green

Noooo I drink decaff coffee so I don't spend all day on the loo, love blackcurrent jelly babies although along with the pink French Fancies can't remember the last time I had one. Have they changed flavour to enable this dislike

Sorry to be ‘that person’ but some people sadly are restricted to decaf for medical reasons. So it is still very much has a purpose as a coffee even if not as satisfying. 😞☕

YANBU. I hate blackcurrant flavour in any form, whether it's jelly babies or Ribena. Or fruit pastilles. I always seem to get more bloody blackcurrant ones than any of the other flavours.

OK you can have my 7 discarded ones.

I have to say the new Strawberry an Cream French fancies are soon much nicer than the ordinary pink ones.
All Rowntree Jelly babies are good.
Also Haribo mini ones.
Supermarket ones are yuk.

Toffoes? Wierd but loved them.

Opal fruits? They should bin the black current one and bring back lemon.

@ChooseAtRandom I'm in Canada and I also have trouble seeking out blackcurrant anything, especially jam. I usually end up paying through the nose in a British aisle in a supermarket or at a candy store specialising in British/European stuff. That’s where I usually find tins of travel sweets and Haribo in styles I didn’t know existed!

I quite like blackcurrant flavour sweets but really dislike jelly babies, weird texture.
All green sweets should be banned. Never know what the flavour is supposed to be. Perfumed soap?

Disagree on everything except the jammy red wine, which should be banned, it's horrific. All jelly babies and french fancies are fabulous and decaf coffee is a great choice after a dinner out if you want to get to sleep before 3am.
