The Beckhams’ once-flawless brand and PR machine have finally taken a dent.

Will Brooklyn be tempted to write a tell all or speak out, like Harry? Surely the Beckhams have their own skeletons, and you can bet the media will bait Brooklyn until he cracks.

Makes me feel somewhat better about my own dysfunctional family.

I feel for David though, his 50th will have been overshadowed by his son. Give, give, give and in return their first born cannot put differences aside to attend.

AIBU to think that parents who give their kids everything just end up creating entitled brats who are so detached from reality, add little to society and throw it all back in their poor parents faces. should there not be some kind of study, research or guidance on how to stop this happening. The world has enough problems.

Apparently there’s a rift concerning Brooklyn’s wife and Victoria.

The Beckhams have worked very hard to promote a Family brand. It must be hard to give up that control when your kids are old enough to not want to be part of it. They must be dreading Harper being old enough to start dating unsuitable boyfriends . Her brothers haven't done very well - isn't Romeo girlfriend years older than him ? Plus it must be worrying to never being sure that people aren't using their kids to enter the inner circle .
I don't think it's a coincidence that both Prince Harry and Brooklyn have married Americans . These women , especially Meghan have no interest in towing the accepted line with their in laws family. I think both women have given their men the back up and support to defy tradition that they found irksome. But Harry is pathetic publicly airing his grievances to gain attention and money .

Yes and I can imagine once you’re married your wife wouldn’t be too keen on having a MIL and possibly a FIL that want to be so involved. Which could cause problems. Saying that she’s meant to be very close to her parents so you’d have thought she wouldn’t mind him being close to his parents. 🤷‍♀️

No idea if it’s true or not but when they got married apparently VB was offended because Nicola didn’t want a VB designer dress. And that issue caused problems a while back but were then resolved.

At another point, Beckham confirmed his own family’s attendance and provided their ages, guessing at 11-year-old sister Harper’s age, only for Peltz to step in and reply, “Do not trust Brooklyn with this,” before adding “U should be asking an assistant. He has no idea. And is guessing.”

Despite both families being extremely wealthy and in the public eye, I don't think that they are comparable. Brooklyn Beckham has obviously had a very loving and pampered existence with two parents who love him and he has had lots of opportunities due to his family connections, despite his obvious lack of talent.

No-one normal would really want Harry's life with the death of his mother and a very cold and distant father. They all seem quite fucked up to me and incapable of normal, human emotions. Does anyone ever look at any members of the Royal Family and wish that had been you?

From the title I thought that these two had been caught having a torrid affair or something!

Anyway, TMZ says that Brooklyn and his wife tried to arrange their own get-together with Dave and Vic as Brooklyn's on the outs with his bro's allegedly gold-digging gf, but Dad said new phone who dis? I bet Harry can relate.

Brooklyn Beckham is a joke, the kid is seemingly incapable of doing anything. He was shit at football, the photography was comical (seriously, that book! My 4 year old granddaughter has taken better photos on my phone!), now he reckons he’s a “chef” yet he couldn’t be bothered to do any actual training this “career” - he just decided he is one. He’s an idiot and I cringe everytime I see anything about him. His parents must be so embarrassed by him. He has also got a very dopey face. I think the Beckham's made a mistake raising their children in the public eye.

I think Charles made a mistake sending his kids to boarding school aged 8, and prioritising time with the mistress over raising his sons. It also appears the family put William first. Finally a non academic child should never have been sent to an academic school like Eton.

It's the tight knit families who are overbearing with their adult children and their spouses.

I'm going to take a guess that the OP and those with detailed 'knowledge' of whether the Beckhams wish each other happy birthday are Daily Mail/The Sun readers. Just a hunch.

Loads of families have a Harry or a Brooklyn. It just shows that despite the wealth etc they are just people like us.

TBF the Peltz family sound such hard work. Third set of wedding planners, suing companies, nearly 700 guests.

What do those boys do? The 3 of them? I suppose the girl is still in school. I can’t imagine all that wealth, privilege and access to the best education and your children end up doing nothing at all. Also think it was a big mistake to create “Brand Beckham”’or include the children in it as they cannot be a standalone brand.

I’m not at all surprised they have 700 guests. Their families must know absolutely loads of people. Still only the size of an average southeast Asian wedding, right?

Haven’t read all the posts -and this may have been mentioned before- but I have a feeling that both Harry & Brooklyn are married to controlling narcissists.

Have to say I would be very surprised if Nicola were a narc. She just seems spoilt, and probably selfish. Brooklyn has been brought up to prioritise partner and marriage at all costs so just falls into doing whatever she wants, living wherever she wants etc.

She also talks down re BB, in the leaked messages when she is snapping at the wedding planners telling them they ‘should have an assistant’ to find out Harpers age, insisting Brooklyn doesn’t know and he’s guessing.

I’m pretty sure he would know how old his sister was.
