invited someone accidentally to a facebook group which was totally outside that person’s demographic-

• think sending a Facebook group invite to a 70 year old for something they’re likely to have NO knowledge of or interest in!

THEN next morning o woke up to a status on Facebook from that person
“Thanks for inviting me to your group”

I did this as I was falling asleep with phone in hand

My toddler has sent out a few friend requests, probably to the bemusement of the people who accept!

One of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever done was writing the name of the person I had a crush on in what I thought was the search bar in my half asleep state and I’d actually written it as my status. I still cringe about it now, 15 years later. 😬😬🤦🏼‍♀️

My Mum tried to hit the 'care' button on a post where someone posted their Dad had died. She hit the laughing one instead!!

Thankfully as luck would have it we were on a family holiday at the time and she came rushing through to my room absolutely horrified and nearly in tears.

Fell sleep while Facebooking and accidentally friend requested 2 people who I don't know.
One of them sent me a message asking Do I know you?
When I checked what had happened I realised I'd sent two randomers FB requests. I came off FB altogether shortly after that.

I will never forget the post on here about a woman who was stalking photos of her ex, his wife and their new baby, and accidentally managed to tag herself in a photo as the baby.

I once added a heart to someone’s instagram post when I was trying to zoom in on their picture.

My mum thought 'lol' meant 'lots of love' and repeatedly used it in a WhatsApp group when one of the members shared the news of her husband dying! 😱

Otherwise known as scarred for life. 🤣🤣🤣
