There is just not enough money to live a nice, fairly average life now on good jobs. Really what is the point? Just working to survive until we retire, probably in our 70’s, if we’re lucky to make it that long..it’s crap! It isn’t a life and isnt the way it should be.

Have been watching the programmes with Olivia Attwood (think that’s her name) and all these people earning thousands a month with the aim of working a few years to earn a few million and be done. A lot of them seem to have captured niche markets, work from home, work for themselves…I don’t know, how much longer to go out every day to work, to slog my guts out just to get by.

Have you ever actually looked at OF or cam sites to see the reality of what these women actually do to themselves for money? Men don't pay for ordinary stuff they can get on pornhub.

Starting an only fans limits you professionally. At least in the US, it will show up on any background check that you did Only Fans. As much as people want to pretend we’re beyond sex shaming women or “sex work is real work”, these women will be significantly excluded from professional life.

I’ve no idea what is on only fans. I’m very old. But. I know what it does to women to do this kind of thing, whether for money or for “fame”. It’s not worth it. It’s not a quick, easy payday. It wasn’t 25 years ago, and the internet hasn’t improved matters.

No amount of money received for doing things for the sadistic pleasures of men will make up for the scars it will cause, forever. Scars that you won't know are even there. No amount of money is worth it.

It’s not even the damage to your soul, it’s just the practicalities. Once those naked photos are out there, they are out there. How are you meant to assume a normal professional life afterward? People have and are fired for this.

Its just not worth it. Yes it might lead to a bit of extra money but at what price? Selling yourself for a bit of cash. True it doesnt involve actual skin to skin contact with others but it does mean photos etc of you online forever (and not just in the locations you put them either). Its still prostitution.

Also - what about what your children will think? Your mum/grandma? or when your kids friends/their parents find out and your kids get bullied because of what their mum is doing? And of course the obvious........... future employers.

As I said - in the US Only Fans shows up on background checks. It’s not that anonymized. Employers aren’t going to discern between “oh just feet pics” and hardcore pornography.

Once you start this path, it is incredibly hard to get out of it.

Most women make barely anything and have to do more extreme, more degrading things to make anything at all. Those stories of successful only fans stars are propaganda to get more women signed up - it’s nothing close to the norm.

OP, I get what you're saying though these people that brag about how much they make on OF must be posting quite a lot of content and most likely of a niche nature.

The average woman on OF makes $180 a month, so they're not all raking it in by any means.

The women who show off how many millions they're earning are trying to sell you some sort of course on 'how to succeed' ~ which is absolutely rubbish but makes them money.

We're just in a world where we're being conditioned to think well-paid side hustles are the norm. The reality is most lose you money, or take so many hours it works out well below minimum wage - the saying 'if it sounds too good to be true it probably is' applies here. There are decent side hustles, but very few that take minimal effort.
